Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre

This was not a good value, primarily because of the food. The show was fair, although our PG-rated show had a lot more swearing than I expected. The food was the disappointment. Technically, it was a buffet, but you have more options in your typical Chinese buffet at a strip mall. Yes, the buffet has fish, chicken, and roast. Everything else is plain, basic, and below expectations. It's a small spread with few options. For $90 a person, this was way below standards.

Additionally, on this particular night, the women's main bathroom had a major plumbing issue that could be resolved. Have you ever seen over 200 women trying to use an alternate upstairs bathroom? They took over the men's bathroom, and we got to use the single stall employee bathroom. Not impressed. Granted, that will likely never happen again. But at these prices, I won't find out.

Dessert - extra (what kind of buffet doesn't have desserts?)

My final complaint would be the chairs. Think of your typical metallic chairs with pads. That's what they have. Now imagine that, because of the cramped spacing between tables, you are sitting immediately behind your dinner guest, who is at the same height level. So now you are in a stiff chair and have to move side to side to see the action around the head of your guest. That was my experience, and I was in the second row.

Overall, not impressed. The service was the only thing that kept it from being a 1-star.

This place was great. It was a dinner theater. The food was fantastic and the play was also the best. We saw Elvis and he was as close to real as could be. It was amazing how they moved the entire buffet off the area where the stage gets moved to in about 5 minutes. Would definitely go back.

Why have we lived in this beautiful state of Indiana for 7-ish years and never visited this place?! I feel like I’ve found a hidden gem!!! 💎 “Heartbeark Hotel” was so much fun! It brought so much joy to my soul to see 95% of the audience get “ALL SHOOK UP” whilst they sang 🎶 and moved whichever body part could jiggle the most with the least amount of arthritis! Since the musical/event was based on the life of Elvis Presley, they were experiencing a moment in time from childhood and you could see it in their eyes 👀 🤩 So beautiful to see! I prayed all of those cute old peeps make it into Christ’s Kingdom! 🙏🏻✝️
Y’all I literally booked 🎟️ the next show (during intermission) to take our whole family to watch The Christmas Carol in Dec! I’m stoked 😍 Every single thing about this place/show was stellar and the performers quite literally “cooked” 🔥😮😍 And speaking of “cooked” every bite I put in my mouth from this place was delicious! I still think about the mashed potatoes! 🤣 And the flourless chocolate cake was so divine, I ordered/ate a second! 😜

My date and I haven’t been out this late in soooo long! 🤣 We had the time of our lives! 🥰 Best date day, ever! 💕💋

I saw my friend from high school star in Waitress recently! Beef & Boards has always been an awesome dinner theater to enjoy a show! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun way to see shows! Beautiful stage & decently comfy seats!
