Good relaxing outdoor atmosphere ....tucked away off the main Irvington hustle. When I've been there you order drinks yourself at bar yourself and get menu off QR code on phone... Suggestion: know what you want prior to going to the bar...

We went to this brewery during the Halloween festival. The first thing that left a bad taste in my mouth was the door/security person. My F-I-L, my husband and I walk in, in that order. However I was the only one asked for an ID. When I asked the employee "oh am I the only one you are IDing today" her snide response "yea haha". I continued to watch this employee not ask for ID to anyone behind me. Next issue arises at the bar. The furthest menu has all the information about the beers including percentage and taste etc. My FIL ask the employee pictured what they recommend. With an attitude they state the menu is right here (pointing at the counter) this menu did not have all the descriptive info as the one further back. Either way. We order a beer and my FIL hands the employee cash. They return and give the change to my husband. THIS IS UNSEEN in any service industry. I HOPE THIS IS NOT DUE TO RACISM as my FIL is black I am Mexican and my husband is white passing. Please do better. We understand that this day was high stress but if you can't stand the heat..... or simply take a break.

Vibe & atmosphere is on point! Nice place to chill with a beverage. Pet friendly, kid friendly, open air environment. Cute neighborhood spot. Will definitely be back!

The Black Acre Garden is an amazing hang out spot in Irvington. This creates a much needed open air space to enjoy drinks with groups close to the main road. There is a ton of seating. They have high tops, low tops, picnic tables, etc. There really will always be a seat somewhere. The drinks are always great. That is probably a given though. You can get some specialty cocktails or the usual beer. All will taste spectacular and be well worth it! This is also a pet friendly space. Bring your furry friends! I have seen both dogs and cats (2 kittens in a stroller) here and it's that much more fun!

One of my favorite summer patios! Order at the bar. Friendly service. Yummy drinks! Cool vibes.

The location is south in Historic Irvington. Tough to find, but worth the effort. The vibe is excellent and the beer selection was good. The Saucy Intruder is a solid rye IPA. The beers were pouring with too much head across the entire tap list. They also have their own spirits and sodas. Always a fan of Black Acre.

This hidden gem in Irvington is a part of Black Acre Brewery (main location on Washington St. next to Jockamos). It is an outdoor patio offering tap, cans, and slushies to drink. The patio has plenty of seating options with fairy lights draped all around. They do offer the drinks inside an indoor space where you can find the restrooms, pool table, and a pinball machine. The service is always super knowledgeable about the drinks and friendly. It is pet-friendly and you can also bring your own food (picnic style or even a pizza). This is a super fun place to check out if your on the Indy east side and need a nice place to unwind.

One of my favorite bars in Indianapolis. The ambience is so fun and relaxing. It's the perfect spot on a sunny day. It's kid and pet friendly, so a great place to bring a group and hang out for the day! Their hibiscus cocktail is so refreshing and they have Broad Ripple Chip company for the perfect snack .

Great brewery on the southeast side of Indy! Nice atmosphere in the garden area, nice choice of beer! So glad we stopped!

Beautiful outside area with some of the best beer I've had around Indy.

What a cool hidden place in Irvington, we decided to take a walk after dinner and ended up here. The service is great! You just go up to the bar order your drink and you can enjoy the garden. The garden has different sitting areas with beautiful Edison lights. Since it was third Friday, there was a band and different artists next door so we popped over to check it out. I had a tasty Irvington mule, it was crisp and refreshing! I'd come back here again! Very cool area

If the weather is right, this is the place to be. Loved the setup. Drinks were good, service was good. Gem.

Is a great spot, good food, but never have their hours posted. Makes it hard to support them.

If you blink you will miss this place! Thanks to google maps and multiple trips around the building, we finally found the warehouse are that houses this awesome little oasis. The black acre garden is super spacious, offering both indoor and outdoor options. This place was perfect on a beautiful day or with a large group. We aren't in the area that often, but I'm jealous of those that live nearby. Very cool place!

Yet another Indy hidden gem. For those that say there isn't anything to do in Indianapolis, I say you gotta get out and discover the city! We came here for St. Patty's Day. It was my first time even though I have heard about this place for quite sometime. I loved it. It's a good spot for families or for friends. I saw a lot of both. It is plenty of space to pull up a chair and just enjoy being outside and enjoying your day. I would say the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there are no servers so while you are comfy if you want to get another drink you have to go stand in line and the wait times can be a bit annoying and then you have to carry the drinks back to your table dodging people and kids. Other than that, its a really cool spot. It's really hidden so if you are using your GPS to find it may not lead you right to it so just keep your eyes open once you get in the area because you may just miss it!
