The food is overpriced. Fries tasted stale and the burger wasn't good either. Staff is not welcoming at all and owner is full of herself. She is rude and unprofessional and she gets defensive when there is a poor review. Think of the episode Amy's Baking Company with Gordon Ramsey.

Was excited to visit a vegan place; I've been mourning Three Carrots since it closed.

The customer service was nonexistent, definitely got the vibe that the person who had to put their phone down to go behind the counter to take my order was bothered to be doing so. They mumbled something at us several times, touched the computer to put in the order, then put on gloves without washing hands to make our order.

It was kind of gross that the two employees we saw treated non-sterile blue gloves like an alternative to handwashing, touching common surfaces like doors and machine handles and then food/beverages.

As to the food, it was served in paper containers, with disposable plastic forks and beverage containers despite being asked if we were going to dine in. The loaded nachos were okay but primarily cabbage and sauces, I expected way more vegetables. The ratio of chips to toppings was way off. The burger patty was unseasoned and a texture that was not pleasant. Both items depended heavily on the sweet sauces for flavor. The fries were soggy and undercooked, like they were in an air fryer without enough air circulation at too low of a temp.

I expected much better quality for the price point. There was a dearth of whole grains and vegetables, which was a bummer.

We were really excited to eat here after seeing such good reviews. However, the staff was incredibly rude to us. There was no napkins or water available for dine-in. All the food were heated up in 30-second increments in a microwave oven. They gave us the wrong burgers, and the fries (which we had to pay $4 extra) were soggy. The $5 side of nacho chips and guac had maybe 9 chips and one spoon of salsa on them. Plus it took 20 minutes to prepare all this without other customers. We wanted to support this business, but unfortunately we did not think it was worth the cost or time.

Perhaps the chef can train the young staff better. The food was ok. But not great. And with the right attention to detail it could be very good.

This little vegan place is a Gem in Indy! The burgers were so loaded, we had to use a fork to eat!

The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing and the staff was the tops!

We were able to enjoy this wonderful cafe this afternoon. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly. I loved that they had a brunch combo - that was insanely delicious! I also have to mention that their Mac and cheese is probably the best one I've ever had. I wish they we located closer or had another location in South Bend! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Outstandingly delicious food! We got the guac burger and the bacon ranch burger. Both were served fresh and hot and the nourishment and flavor jumped off the plate. Would return!

Me and my fiancé came here for our first vegetarian meal. She ordered the nachos and I got bacon burger and we got a side of macaroni. The food was🔥, the bean burger was very very good, the nachos was hitting on some WOW that’s good and the Mac was really light not heavy like regular Mac is which made it very good.. the young brother and sister that took our order was very polite and formal and very helpful while we was there. Got a chance to meet the owners very polish and cool. Some lady was finishing up a yoga class and black left was doing an interview with her which was another black entrepreneur. I love the atmosphere. I love by us for us. I love the campaign of being a part of the community and teaching the community about health and the benefits of eating clean much love to Blackleaf we will be back.💯💪🏽❤️😁

There’s not many vegan options in Indianapolis and I wish I could say I enjoyed this vegan option. Anytime we go in the staff isn’t very friendly and the food is frozen junk that is thrown into a turbo chef oven. I wish the food was more fresh and had better flavor. Sadly The worst vegan mac n cheese I’ve ever had. The burgers are covered and smothered in an unnecessary amount of sauce. And they don’t even put a slice of cheese on their burgers. Just shredded cheese. Black leaf vegan I would love to support your local vegan business. But the food and service is not up to par :(.

About 20 min from Indianapolis international , had jerked jackfruit maple sauce and mac cheese n smoothie , jack fruit was cooked without sauce and then added sauce different but yummmie we asked no jalepena they still added it Mac cheese was melty and very good , felt like working staff didn’t really know much about food today where as at the fairgrounds we felt the staff was very much vegan. , deliscious average price and worth the trip non the less
