Waited 5-10 minutes to be sat, then was asked if I was waiting to be seated, only to be followed up with a relatively rude,”the kitchen closes like 10 minutes”. So I left

First time there and the waitor was very understanding. He was amazing! The food was also very good! The place was clean and the environment was pleasant.

Wow. Great place for great beer and food. The Schwartzbier is my favorite with the "Cuban Owl" a Cuban sandwich with tater tots on the side. Big enough to share 1/2 with a friend. I have been going there for years and it's always great.

We had the queso and chips which was very good. I had the marzan and None the Wiser IPA. Both were very good. I will definitely go back if I am in the area.

Pretzel App- had a crispy skin and soft on the inside. Comes with 2 so make sure to share. Shared the pork Tenderloin sandwich and it was soo scrumptious and flavorful. Thin crispy coating with a tensor piece of pork on the inside. We loved it. And you cannot beat fresh cut fries. Huge place with tons of space and beautiful decor. Great service as well.

I haven’t eaten here in at least three years. The food was great back then. Today, we went for a late lunch/early dinner. The dinning room had maybe four tables and the bar was dead. For a Sunday during the NCAA Tournament, that was a red flag. There was no one up front to seat us when we arrived. While we waited another couple came in behind us. After about five minutes and still no one to seat us, we bailed. They apparently didn’t need customers today!?In my experience, if you have to wait around to get seated when the place is slow, your service is going to suck, too. Thanks to their lack of service, we discovered some great Mexican at La Casa Grande, just up the road on Binford between Graham and 71st!

In a town teeming with brewpubs, Blind Owl Brewery feels like it's given up. This large, airy warehouse of a bar and grill lacks the energy, innovation and fun that must have made it a hit when it opened. The staff seems weary, the food is dull and the in-house beer is flat. The place has a location and size that could go gangbusters with higher standards and inspiring leadership. Let's all hope that day comes.

Me & my friends love this spot. Visit it 2-3 times a month. The service & food is always good. We always order our favorite lavender pineapple margarita!

"Good disappointment" I went there based on the on-line menu items I wanted to try. I was sad that the flavors I wanted to try were not what was listed on their website. However, everything else I had was excellent. Great independent vibe, kind of an upscale warehouse feel with garage door dividers between the bar and dining area, and cut / patched concrete floor. I had the Bison black and blue burger... it was phenomenal. I chose the sautéed veggies as a side and they were so good I ordered seconds of the veggies. Staff was 50/50... they had the all staff serves all customers concept which is a great idea BUT there was no dress code or uniform attire so I had no idea who I was supposed to ask for service and was embarrassed when I asked for something from a fellow patron who happened to need to walk by my table 4 or 5 times. Also 50% of the staff was attentive to customers and the other 50% was attentive to their phones or dismissive. I would go back because the food and flavor was excellent, but will tip my wait staff during the initial interaction to ensure prompt service.

If I could leave zero I would. Firstly, literally ignored as I walked in by hostess who was sitting and on her phone. Walked to the bar and was greeted by a bartender who was obviously pre closing and irritated I chose to sit at the bar. No recommendations and clear attitude to be bothered while pre closing at 7:30pm. Kitchen closes at 8pm and bar is open till 9pm. Ignores the light rush, 5 guests in 10 minutes, everyone clearly agitated. I order right after another group orders. Close out. Food takes 15 minutes to come out, comes for here not to go. Food runner is annoyed. Food runner comes with my order 2 minutes later with sarcastic remark about being sorry for the delay and mix up. Busser was on his phone and hostess was as well as I left. Both In the front of restaurant for anyone to see. I hope management is reprimanded for the lack of discipline and something is done about the overall hospitality of this place. The beer was the only shining part. House ipa and neipa both were spot on and delicious but I won't be attempting this place just for that. To make it worse, I get to my hotel room, no cutlery and food is mediocre at best, not so lux Mac and cheese. Place is a great idea but poorly managed and sadly will probably be gone before you actually read this. Hope they do better cause it has potential.

Only give a 3 because the salmon was very good and nutritious for my body, the margaritas tasted like I was drinking a cup of sugar , the lady bartender/ manager was iffy and didn't seem to be attentive towards me I didn't feel comfortable talking to her with her back turned typing on the kiosk, but I'm not a yeller either, but I got to spend time with my man , it was super cold in there, everybody had a coat, jacket, or sweater on , this was my 1st and last time there!

Came to the Blind Owl to pick up my husband that has been partying all day without me. Unfortunately, I had to work but got to enjoy the end of the evening with great friends! I was pleased to see they have the Sam Adam's Coldsnap on a -1 degree day. I had the Cubanowl and tater tots. They both were hot and fresh and would recommend them both. Can't wait for warm weather to dominate the bocce courts again!
