The woman that worked last night was beyond rude and disrespectful. She needs a lesson in appropriate customer service. She was not rude to the mom with her kids in front of me, but I came with my two kids to let them pick out a cookie. My kids were not acting out and were displaying inappropriate behavior. She didn’t greet us and gave all three of us very dirty looks while we were trying to order as if she wishes we were not even there. My son’s asthma and allergies were acting up, so he started to cough a bit. My kids are only 6, so I had to remind him to turn his head when he did this and not to do it on the counter as we were paying. He of course didn’t do this on purpose. As I said, he’s only 6. She gave him and me a very nasty look, muttered something hateful under her breath, and immediately started to spray down the counter while continuing to give my son and myself nasty looks and saying rude things about us. Again, he is 6! If you as a grown woman cannot keep your comments to yourself about a 6 year old, then maybe you should not be selling cookies…duh! Go get a job where you never have to interact with others. The audacity of people to be hateful to others, especially to children, for no reason is downright ridiculous. I even left a tip, but after that, I definitely should not have because she did not deserve it.

To the Woman Working the counter on Monday morning, October 14th,
I wanted to take a moment to express my disappointment with the experience I had at Blondies Cookies during my visit. My intention was to enjoy a quick pick-me-up as I drove back from Oklahoma to Michigan after the loss of my grandfather, and I specifically went out of my way to stop at one of my favorite cookies places.
However, the treatment I received was far from what I expected. You didn’t greet us, ignored us entirely, and when I needed a moment to make my selection, you walked away in frustration and even rolled your eyes at me. but this level of rudeness was completely unacceptable.
To make matters worse, when I finally decided on part of my order, you refused to start packing it, I've worked in customer service my whole life. I spent 38.00 dollars on a slow Monday. The least you could do is pretend to care.
This was a terrible experience that left me feeling unwelcome and disheartened. I hope that future customers receive better treatment, as this experience certainly left a sour taste that no cookie could fix.
