This place is great, the new owner who took over is super nice and the food is great, I've had the fried chicken, veggies, shrimp, literally the best fried tilapia I've ever had, like it was cooked perfectly, juicy not overcooked or undercooked just perfect! Everything ice ever eaten there was sinfully delicious.

I stopped in here for lunch on a Monday as I was nearby and between meetings. I didn't really know what to expect, based on the outside appearance, but what I found was a very pleasant surprise. The place is bright, spacious, and one of the cleanest restaurants I've ever been in, including the restrooms. Decor is predictably nautical, with pleasant R&B/reggae island-themed background and the tables are covered in butcher paper, in case you indulge in one of their seafood boils. I was the first one there at opening, and the service was prompt and courteous. I just had the chicken finger basement, and it was delicious. The chicken was crispy on the outside and very tender on the inside. It's about as good as you can do with chicken fingers. The fries were just as fresh and crispy. I wish I'd had more time to try some of their seafood dishes, but what I had was top quality and the prep was as good as it gets. While I only had a simple meal, the quality and cleanliness speak very well for the restaurant. I look forward when I can be back to sample more of their menu.

Went here twice this week. Fish and chicken were good. They were seasoned well as fried to perfection. Went back ordered the Philly, not so good. ??♀️ Will go back and try more items. Maybe it was an off day. P.S. Real catfish from a fish restaurant would be nice.

I like seafood, my husband likes fish. We've been in the area multiple times but had not stopped until tonight. There is a wide variety of items, the prices, we feel, are very reasonable, and the food was delicious!! My husband got the catfish basket, which was several nice pieces and a good portion of fries. I got a boil for the first time in my life. I got 1/2 lb crab legs and 1/2 lb clams in mild garlic butter!! It was delish!! I liked that they gave me gloves! We also got hush puppies!! They were very flavorful and crunchy, just the way we like them.
Outstanding food for a great price. Food was well seasoned and freshly prepared, hot and nice and crispy. Friendly and quick service. Takeout only.

You're not gonna find a better lunch special folks. I got 2 HUGE catfish fillets, fries, slice of bread, side of coleslaw, and a canned soda for $7.07!!!! He asked if I wanted lemon pepper and I said yes. So glad I did. Fish is fried perfectly and fries and delicious. Nice sweet creamy slaw too Highly recommend.
