Favorite place to get sushi from, half off. Its delicious 😋
Modern neosushi restaurant with a large selection of great food options, with solid vegan options. The salmon was fresh and the sushi was well presented and prepared. Ingredients were fresh to - some of us just want the traditional salmon avocado rolls, not fancy well dressed rice sandwiches.

Our waiter was great, she was busy but our food was fantastic. Zero complaints. Thank you!
Took my niece who was visiting from NYC and is a sushi connoisseur. She waws verypleased with with menu and had a very difficult time ordering because you have such a great array of choices. The only glitch was that after repeated questions about whether one of her choices was really made with crab stick or did it have any crab in it. She wasa assured but then the waitress looked at the item and thought it had real crab in it. She immediately addreed it with the manager and all's well that ends well. My niece who has a crab allergy did not get sick
Well made cocktails and fresh ingredients consistently. Best sushi in Indy as far as I know.
Had a great Father's Day dinner on the patio! The service and food were great. Can't wait to go back for the all day happy hour on Sunday in the near future!
Highly recommend this place. Food was great. Service was great. We will definitely be back.
Food was excellent and service was impeccable. And happy hour pricing makes it even more reasonable than normal. We love to do family celebrations here, in addition to regular meals out.
Tucked inside the chic Ironworks Hotel, Blue Sake Sushi feels like a hidden gem for vegans. We came for happy hour and ended up staying for what might be the best vegan sushi I’ve ever had. We started with two cocktails: the Sangria Spritz (a guava-forward, bubbly dream) and the China Doll, which had the perfect balance of jasmine tea and citrus. Refreshing, not too sweet, and beautifully crafted. The happy hour vegan sushi menu was surprisingly creative and generous. Every roll was next-level. Here’s what we tried: Veggie Roll: Classic and clean with vegan cream cheese, cucumber, and avocado—simple but satisfying. Cowgirl Roll: A standout. Designed like a sushi "burger" with pickle vegan tempura and crispy onion rings. It sounds unusual, but it works so well. Our server suggested pairing it with spicy vegan mayo—game changer. Spicy Kaluna Crunch: Plant-based tuna with crispy quinoa and vegan caviar—crunchy, spicy, and bursting with umami. Shiitake to Me: Rich and earthy with coconut milk–sautéed mushrooms, sweet potato tempura, truffle oil, and Thai basil. Comforting, decadent, and a must-try. Service was warm, the atmosphere is elevated yet welcoming, and the attention to detail in every dish really impressed me. This place makes vegans so happy—it’s hands-down one of my favorite vegan spots in Indy. ✨ For more vegan eats and slow travel stories: @leannes_ethical_travels
What an unforgettable experience for my in-laws during their first visit to one of my all-time favorite restaurants. When they asked me to take them somewhere I reserve for the most important people in my life, there was only one place that came to mind, Blue Sushi. Knowing how particular my father-in-law can be, I made a special request while booking: great seating and a server with deep knowledge of the menu. I hoped for someone who could balance professionalism with personality, and then came Taylor. Taylor was everything I didn't know I needed and more. Her mastery of the menu, her intuitive understanding of flavors and dietary preferences, and her ability to make each dish come alive through her descriptions were exceptional. What truly set her apart, though, was her grace under pressure. Despite the demanding nature of our table, Taylor never missed a beat. She remained poised, confident, and most importantly, genuinely warm and enthusiastic from beginning to end. Taylor didn't just serve dinner; she created an experience. One that reminded me why Blue Sushi is my go-to for meaningful moments. Her performance was the epitome of what hospitality should be: informed, attentive, and effortlessly kind. To Taylor and the entire Blue Sushi team, well done. You've set a benchmark in service that others should strive to meet. You made a lasting impression, and for that, I'm truly grateful

Great experience eating outside. Both of my kids devoured their shrimp and chicken bento box. We can't eat here without ordering the beef hot rock as an app and the Spicy gringo roll
Highly recommended this place…..

Always a Yes for Sushi at Blue!
If anyone says, “Sushi at Blue?” — I’m in, no questions asked! I personally love their cooked sushi options, and they do such a great job with vegetarian rolls too. Some of my absolute favorites are the charred edamame (so addictive!), the Cowgirl Roll, Thai Hippie, and the tofu lettuce wraps — all super flavorful and fresh.
For non-veg options, I have to say the Cloud Nine 2.0 and Hotel Cali are total standouts. Honestly, everything feels thoughtfully made and totally crave-worthy. Whether you're a sushi newbie or a seasoned fan, there’s something here for everyone!
Another great evening at Blue! Great service. Excellent food. Awesome atmosphere. Try the everything salmon 💥
We've been loyal patrons for several years but our experience on the evening of Saturday, May 24th was bad enough that we may not return. We made a reservation a week in advance, specifically requesting the main dining area. When we followed up with a call given the size of our party and special occasion, we were told we would be seated there. Oddly, when we arrived, the host was rude. Then he told us we wouldn't be seated in the area requested. We explained politely but he told us all the other tables in the main dining area were full, when a quick glance demonstrated otherwise— we could see a high number of tables which had no guests. Given our advance reservation, any other restaurant would have been accommodating. This establishment was not. The service was the slowest we'd experienced in 4 years. The food wasn't even marginal. One plate was dirty. The rice was virtually inedible— partially cooked and broken. It ruined everything it touched, from rolls to the side in our daughter's bento box. Rolls arrived at our table dry. Our daughter's bento box contained half of a piece of salmon, something we'd never experienced before. The whole thing was terrible start to finish. Pretty sad. We'd talked it up to our friends who joined us that night. Big mistake!
