Amazing cocktails and mocktails. Sad at how much I like this place bc I hate leaving my home but will definitely make the trip downtown for this place. The staff was so kind and helpful and I really liked the vibe. The food was delicious and I can’t wait to try more items. We have two appetizers. They were amazing!

Wait or reservation: they don't take reservations but we didn't have to wait for a table around 630p on a Tuesday! Parking: Street. Can generally be tricky in that area but going in the neighborhoods is a good call! Location: Holy Rosary near Fountain Square Vibe: We sat outside because I love me a good patio! Beautiful trees, fire place + heaters! Service: Phenomenal! Felt like I made a new friend. I even asked for my cocktail soul to be read and the server got me 10/10 both times. Food: Make you want to cry, call a loved one, go to church. I hadn't been to Bluebeard in years and now I need to reflect on that life choice. I need to get back to therapy! ;) really I just want to go back all the time. We ordered it all! We started with chips and dip which feels basic but no. Those were some truffle chips that were perfectly fried and salted! Dip was zingy and fresh. The oysters! Omg. They were served on a frothy mousse and were so fresh had me feeling like I was on the coast. I liked the falafel but nothing super standout because the ricotta gnocchi stole the entire show. Jesus take the wheel. I can't even begin to describe the made with all the love and sauce from another plane deliciousness. Obvi we had to have a green to balance it all out! I wanted dessert but we just could not. Pricing: spendy and take it allll it's fine Gluten Free and Nonalcoholic: I was eating all that gnocchi gluten so truly didn't pay attention. Fabulous NA options! Pro tip: They have been known for their spaghetti but have a new chef so it may be off the menu soon. go get it! I need to return for it. Maybe tomorrow...

Unfortunately we were unable to eat here yesterday. My husband loved this restaurant the first time we ate there. So for his 60th birthday weekend in Indy our first stop was Bluebeards for lunch. There were 2 empty 4 tops when we arrived but the hostess refused to seat us in the main room in case 2 other parties of 4 arrived. The restaurant doesn't take reservations. We were told we could squeeze in at the bar, wait until a 2 top opened up, or sit in the front room which was completely empty. I'm happy that Bluebeard is so comfortable resting on its reputation and can turn away guests but we won't be returning or recommending it anymore.

Very cold in front dining area due to a constant stream of people. Suggest building a closed area just outside that door so it is a double door entry. I left my winter coat on during dinner. We love Bluebeard and food is always amazing. Service was slow this evening but that can happen. This is one of our favorite restaurants in all of the area!

Always delicious! Great food and cocktails which change often enough to keep things interesting. They had a Barolo by the glass special which you don't see very often and was wonderful. We always go for dinner but went for lunch this time which was a fun difference. We had the oysters, duck confit salad, biscuit sausage sliders and an Italian meat sandwich. The service is always unpretentiously hospitable.

We dined here on a getaway and loved it! The prices are definitely a little more than we normally spend going out, but the food, atmosphere and service were worth every penny. My wife had the Gnocchi and I had the Salmon. We also shared some wine. All were amazing! If you want to spend a little extra for amazing food, but not have to dress in black tie, this is your place!

Bluebeard has been keeping me very well fed since I discovered it in 2018. Their dinner is amazing, the casarecce is a fail safe option for those venturing into their amazing options. Lunch is always BOMB. And their sister company Amelia's always has great sandwiches and groceries. Truly love this company.

This place is fantastic! The food is absolutely delicious! Our waitress was very helpful with every step of our dining experience. We had a lot of questions about the menu options. She answered our questions, followed up throughout the meal. We enjoyed everything so much! I would highly recommend dining here!

SO HEAR ME OUT. I do not live in Indy. But was referred by to this spot from many people. We showed up early due to a large party but they don't do reservations. All good we went to the bar, spent $80 there closed out and got seated. Then we look at menu, ordered more drinks. Then we wanted another round and were denied. NOW I know when we can be out of control this was truly not the case. We were so pumped to try this menu and spend lots of money. To then turn around and hear the staff trash talking us and throwing the check in our faces. SO I suggest don't order DRINKS be quiet and follow them like a group of dictators. And you'll be fine. Woof
