We have been here twice in last few weeks. Both times the service was just okay. There is an extremely long wait time between appetizer and salad and then between salad and entree. Happened both times, almost to the point of no longer being hungry by the time entree arrives. The food is good. The pasta dishes are very rich. The alcohol drinks are okay but ridiculously overpriced. $24.00 for a glass of cabernet and that was their less expensive one! I went here a few years ago and thought it was excellent. Not so much now.
We had a lovely evening while visiting our daughter at Butler University. The ambiance and food were both really nice. Would definitely recommend going to this special restaurant.
Had a wonderful meal with friends during devour at Bocca. I had the chicken Parmesan and portion sizes were good. Espresso martinis were wonderful, I'd say even better than the food. As others have said in their reviews, tap water does absolutely does taste like a fish tank. Overall a good dining experience minus the funky water taste
Bocca is our go to spot! Food and service is always on point. We love the flatbread, baked goat cheese and arancini's for apps! Literally every single item on the menu is amazing. For entrée you can never go wrong with the Tortellacci, Della Casa or the Pommodoro.
Such a great spot! Great food and drinks. Nice ambiance and atmosphere. Happy hour specials including oysters. Salmon, tiramisu, chopped salad, coffee, and spritzer were all perfect. Fast service just a little pricey.
Started with the mussels which were fantastic! Had the winter spritz cocktail and espresso martini — both excellent and would order again. The chopped salad was delicious as were our entrees — the special of the evening (cod and risotto) and the Della casa. Service was phenomenal— friendly, knowledgeable server who provided great recommendations and food came out very timely. We enjoyed the lovely, cozy ambience and will be back again!
After rolling into Indianapolis from Chicago last night, my wife and I wanted something easy, comforting, and reliably excellent. Bocca fit the bill perfectly, so we reserved a couple of stools at the bar—the culinary equivalent of sweatpants, but Italian and far more elegant. Cocktails came first, with Maritza behind the bar and, as always, completely on point. She has a rare gift for making everyone feel like a regular, whether you're there weekly or stopping in for the first time. Warm, attentive, and effortlessly gracious, she sets the tone for the entire room. We began with mussels in a perfectly spiced chili sauce—just the right amount of heat on a cold, rainy night—followed by Caesar salads (because adults should still pretend to be virtuous). Then came the entrées. My wife ordered the tortellacci, and I went straight for the carbonara, my favorite in Indy and quite possibly the best I've had this side of Rome. Silky, rich, and perfectly indulgent, it's the dish that keeps me loyal. The wine list never disappoints, especially since Bocca reliably stocks my favorite Vermentino, a crisp, bright companion that pairs beautifully with nearly everything and dangerously well with good conversation. Bocca draws a true neighborhood crowd, and while we don't live in the immediate vicinity, we're less than ten minutes north—an easy drive and always worth it. The intimate dining room is ideal for cold evenings, though we're just as fond of the outdoor area once warmer weather returns. What an addition Bocca is to the Ambrosia family of restaurants—polished yet personal, familiar yet special, and one of our favorite places for an easy, elegant night out.
Had a wonderful evening with my dad last weekend. Our server David did a great job serving us and answering any questions we had. He was super patient and never made us feel rushed. The entire meal was perfect and we will definitely be back again.
So good! Everything we had was amazing. The lasagna was SO rich you will definitely have leftovers.
Had dinner here on Monday for my brothers birthday! I had oysters, the salmon, pistachio cake, and an amaro flight. Everything was absolutely perfect and the service was spectacular. Surprised I haven’t been in before but looking forward to my next visit already.

I got the Della Casa and it was 10/10. The flavor and atmosphere was icing on the cake, but the service from Derly at the bar was the home run for me. For great food, this place is 100% worth a try.

Made a reservation 3 weeks in advance, when I called to add one more person to my reservation they refused and I was left scrambling to find another restaurant to eat at the night of my birthday celebration
It started with Tillman, our server. He was absolutely by far the most attentive server we have had for years. Appetizers included perfectly cooked calamari and the goat cheese with fennel sausage. Outstanding. For the main entree I had the new York strip. Superbly cooked to medium well, hot throughout. Asparagus on the side was perfectly steamed and mushroom risotto was too die for. My husband had the scallops and they did not disappoint. Thank you all, especially Tillman, for making our evening so wonderful. We will definitely be back.

The service was 5 stars. The food was okay. The flat bread was a a thin focaccia. A personal choice, a little and thinner crust would have been appreciated with the arugula, soft cheese, and lemony oil dressing. This location has indoor and outdoor seating. There was an outdoor local band performing which was well appreciated on a summer day. The pomodoro needed a little more sauce to offset the saltiness of the olives. Overall, a good dining experience.
