Great food we will be back!

One of the best steakhouses in the entire state, and every time I go it's amazing! I've had the privilege of having many of their cuts; filet, porterhouse, Tomahawk ribeye, and of course the prime rib. I encourage anyone to try taking a left turn to Bymums next time they're downtown looking for a steakhouse, rather than that normal right turn to St. Elmos.

Don't let the outside fool you. This place is a hidden gem. Wonderful on the inside. The French Onion soup was fantastic. Sirloin was top-notch! Definitely coming back!

Ordered steak medium rare. Steak came out cooked properly but cool to the touch. Steak can be warm and medium rare. They don't seem to get that. Wait staff less than attentive.

My wife and I had the pleasure of once again having dinner at this incredible Indiana landmark and it didn't let us down! So many people that visit our great city are set on visiting that other steakhouse located in our downtown and it is terrific. But, if you are looking for that same type of dinner experience without all the 'noise', let me suggest the 10 minute drive south to Bynam's. You will experience Indiana's finest welcoming service coupled with a meal that you will enjoy beyond your expectations. I usually just pick the Chef's special. This time it was a filet served with a blue cheese sauce that was delicious. I can't overstate the largess of the portion sizes and the custom foil take home containers are as cute as can be. The owner and his staff get my highest recommendation!

We've lived in Indy for years and have driven past Bynum's so many times and FINALLY had the opportunity to try it! We went on a Friday evening and had a reservation for two. We probably could have gotten in without one, but for more than two, I'd recommend calling ahead. I had looked at the menu online ahead of time and was a little disappointed to see the prices were nearly double what was online. However, with every steak meal, you do get soup, salad, bread, and a side. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was dark and traditional. For two people, we ordered two steaks, drinks, and two desserts. Our meal was over $200. My husband did order the Tomahawk steak which turned out to be almost $100 on it's own. If we go back, we'll stick to regular cuts of meat (with prices listed) and skip the drinks and desserts to make it a little more affordable and worth the money. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we would post likely go back.
