Extremely disappointed. Used to go to Biscuits all the time for breakfast. Havent gone back to this location since they went out. Service was unenthusiastic, coffee and food both served cold. Total lack of care.

I placed an order an hour before they closed on door dash, I waited an hour and a half and it never showed up because they canceled the order.

I ordered a Texas buritto and enjoyed it twice. Once for lunch the other half for dinner. It was great.

The food tasted fine. The dinner serving of fajitas didn’t even fill the fajita skillet and when I told the server about it he told the cook and wasn’t going to do anything to fix it. I insisted that I wasn’t going to pay any more than the lunch price. Then I went to the bathroom and realized they didn’t have any soap and they had the thinnest toilet paper imaginable. Like, you can’t pull it off the roll without it ripping. I can only expect that people working there are ripping through toilet paper and don’t have soap to wash their hands. I feel like I could lose my entire lunch just thinking about it.

First of all, I take no joy in writing these kind of reviews..with that said, the breakfast I just had there was awful..over cooked eggs, seared, dry corned beef hash..lukewarm hash browns and coffee...toast that had been pre toasted and dry.. no offer for a coffee refill...i ate a 1/4 of my meal, told waiter it was not good,he handed me the check..$30!..i would not recommend this place to anyone

To start. I’ve been tasting biscuits for years now and have seen the slow decline through the years.Biscuits used to be a staple of Broad Ripple, it was authentic in every way. Most of the people who came here came all the way from the east and west side to enjoy some really tasty food once it was biscuits. They got their remodel, but it insults the heart of what Mexican food and atmosphere is meant to be.When it was biscuits, half the size it is now, there were lines out of the door. Now the owners do not care, it is not the same. Their only staple now is El Viejon that stays parked at a run down liquor store on 30th & Lafayette.Fast forward to now, not only the name has changed, but quality as well. My usual order is Chilaquiles con Salsa Verde, sunny side up egg, and steak. Back then, it was so fresh, so hot and sizzling. The steak was hard to chew, the frijoles were very cold, the eggs were way too burn and greasy, and the “cheese” appeared to be microwaved texture. There was no salsa verde on it.Ive tried this restaurant out a couple occasions, it always come out really bad. I ordered 5 different menu items, still bad.On top of that, there is a mandatory “gratuity” charge only high end restaurants use. This is not close to high end.The coffee was way too cold and gross. I had to ask for 2 different cups. The staff is dead, only one cook. From it being the hottest piece of traditional Mexican food in town, where lines were made, this restaurant is not it.Note, they keep bags of cooked food and reheat it, because this steak tasted days old. It has been reheated too many times and it had a weird cut.Overall 2/10. I know the owner is ashamed of what it has become. Please paint the wacky words that were left on the wall too it’s ridiculous.

Stale chips, no staff, food was undercooked, or overcooked. I had to send my food back and it was so inedible I had to decline a replacement.

Very mediocre after biscuit's was so good. Went here this morning, three of us total. Each one of us had something wrong with our order. Over priced and very meh.

Went for Biscuits tenderloin, found them closed. Went ahead and stayed to give Caliente a try. Loved the Hawaiian Fajitas! Very flavorful and no skimping on the meats!

This place seems hit or miss with the food. Sometimes the food is prepared kinda sloppy. Almost like the Cook doesn’t care for special requests. Not the same as the old Biscuits…Also they charge a 20% gratuity??? Thought I should include that in my review because sometimes the service is *JUST SO-SO* and I think this is more common of higher-end restaurants. Overall, this place has some things to improve on.

Great service and food. Good breakfast menu selection. I'll be back.

Kid-friendliness: I'd take kids here.

Midwest Mexican for-the-win! Super easy on-foot access right off the Monon. The food was really good - had the fajita nachos, pollo fundido, and chicken soup. They also gave a generous bag of chips with salsa with the take-out order. The dining room was very empty at dinner time on a Thursday.
