Excellent service. My partner and I initially sat indoor but there were too many flies so the waitress let us choose a table outside. Nice to see (and hear) ducks and geese swimming, bathing, and flapping their wings in the river right next to us. We had a fabulous dinner last evening at Canal Bistro. Our server Reema was beyond amazing, kind, friendly, knowledgeable and in a weird- incredible! So was the food... it's super delicious and the chicken schwarma is extremely tasty as is their salad and dolmathes and everything !! The ambiance is so beautiful and ethnic and so comfortable.. whether sitting inside or out. It's amazing that there's busy, Saturday night.. but our wine and food came out quickly and...
The food was delicious but the service was quite poor. We waited over 20 minutes before our server came over and then were ignored for most of the rest of dinner. We had to ask her three times for a water refill.
