Well me thinking masquerade would of been a bigger place for that and a lower tone atmosphere. The atmosphere felt like a younger generation turned something very small into a very loud room. Yes music is very loud. The space is so small comfort was not present. Me and my other half being older. This wasn't a masquerade at all. It just seems like every other loud bar with nothing to do. I will say the restuarant they upgraded on the main floor very good food. So recommend going there and checking them out. Pricing is fair.

Very small with the patio being closed. Lemon drops were mediocre. We didn't order food, just drinks for 3. We got charged gratuity.

This is an absolutely beautiful and stunning Hotel. This is walking distance to everything we went to an event at Cambridge and was able to walk across the street.

Staff was visibly taking shots behind bar and clearly buzzed. They were awkwardly flirting with us to the detriment of service. Place had cool vibe but the service I had was abysmal. We went for the advertised happy hour which the bartender claimed didn’t exist. I had 2 drinks and they had a mandatory tip. 20% is reasonable but for the drunken service I had… no thanks.

I come to Indianapolis for business every few months and always stay at Hotel Indy. For years, the best part of my trips was the Cannonball Lounge — a classy, low-key rooftop spot with mid-century modern charm, a small but stellar staff, and cocktails that were genuinely works of art. The bartenders knew their craft, the atmosphere was relaxed yet sophisticated, and it felt like a hidden gem.

I came back last week after three months away and… wow. What a letdown. The Cannonball Lounge is gone, replaced by something called “Elevate Bar” — and they’ve stripped away everything that made it special. The decor now looks cheap and clubby, the unique cocktails have been replaced with generic, forgettable drinks, and the expert staff I looked forward to seeing has been replaced mostly by very young, inexperienced bartenders. Loud club music blasts late into the night (and yes, you can hear it in the hotel rooms on the same floor — terrible if you actually want to sleep).

And the kicker? There’s an arcade basketball hoop on the rooftop. Who thought that was a good idea? I watched balls flying across the patio like projectiles — one nearly took out my drink. This is a liability waiting to happen, not to mention incredibly out of place.

The only thing that’s improved is the food, which is decent. But overall, “Elevate” feels like a cheap attempt to make the space “chic” and “Instagrammable” at the expense of actual quality and atmosphere. They took something exceptional and authentic, gutted it, and served back a loud, unsafe, overpriced shell of its former self.

If you’re looking for a cool, unique rooftop bar in Indianapolis — this is no longer it. Huge disappointment.

A decent 6-story view, but drafts are $13 after tax and mandatory 20% gratuity. The rooftop bar in Fountian Square has a far superior view and is way cheaper.

I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, there was a palpable sense of rejuvenation—warm, welcoming energy paired with elegant, modern touches that immediately set the tone for 10/10 drinks and 11/10 food (the Romano chicken is a must get). Every detail, big and small, reflects thoughtful attention and care.

Setting and view was great, service was non-existent. We were there early so it was not crowded (only 15 people in the entire place), but it took 20 minutes for 3 workers to get us 4 drinks and they never came back to take our food order, so we left

Chelsea with Offline - I had a great time. The server was fantastic, I just feel bad I didn’t hear his name. Me and my friend enjoy bourbon so he picked some cocktails for us that were delicious. Then we ordered two appetizers Butternut squash + pita and winter flatbread and both were yummy! Definitely would love to come back. The seating also helps. Nice and cushioned. Ha.

We were one of just two tables with staff just standing around. We waited five minutes and still no one bothered to offer a menu or our existence. We left to find a location with actual service. I don’t recommend this one - the staff just doesn’t want to actually serve anyone.
