Great service, great food.

Very good food! Great selection! You get ALOT of food for the money! They also have cases of both fresh fish/seafood and frozen fish/seafood! They even have crawfish and alligator!!

This evening I wanted to leave a review due to the fact that it was the best experience that I have had out of the 7 plus years that I have been coming to Caplingers. The experience is always a nice one every time that I visit. The food is always fresh and the Restaurant is always clean, and the staff are always friendly, but this evening it was all of that times 2. I was served by Thomas and Chris which were so Professional and Positive, and the cooks behind the scenes did their Thang also. My Perch dinner, Okra, and Hush Puppies were cooked perfectly and was the best that I have had to date. I will definitely be making it a point to come back in the evenings. My nick name for this Crew will be the Flavor Unit! 💯😊

The food (Catfish whole, Mac and Cheese, Sweet potato 🥔,) was very good, nice golden brown catfish, cheesy Mac and Cheese, sweet potato ok, all in all will go back again. My only concern was the length of time 35min waiting in car. But yes it was worth it 👌 😌

Back again good people for my regular dose of Catfish dinner w/ 2 sides. Meal was very good and I will return when I get back to this side of town.

While the food took a while, the grilled salmon was easily some of the best I’ve had in the city. Delicious! Their selection of sea food is top notch.

Just had the Grouper dinner at Caplinger’s. This place consistently has the best fresh, well prepared seafood around. They have a good variety of fresh fish including shellfish available to purchase and prepare at home too.

Our food was tasty, my walleye fillets didn't smell fishy at all, they gave big portions of sides as well. A lot of fresh sea/lake products here are very interesting. The place feels clean too, definitely recommended if you feel like eating fresh seafood

Fish was delicious.

Shrimp and hush puppies were perfection, and you can't beat the blues music in the background.

Greasy nasty mess! Won’t be ordering here anymore . $18 down the drain. I called to speak with someone and all he had to say was it may be their new oil and that okra holds oil. What an excuse instead of offering how he can make it right. ! Won’t be eating here again

Update: the owners sister Molly reached out and apologized about my experience, she mailed me caplinger gift card.
