Great food and even better service!!!
First time customers. We got fish and chips. The fish was great. The fries were seasoned but nothing else was. I was expecting house made sauces but everything comes in a pouch or container. They don't taste good. We got Mac and cheese and fried okra too and it was bland. The staff and atmosphere were awesome but the food was a little disappointing. The portion sizes were decent. I just wish it had flavor. Also very clean inside.
The Best Place for Fresh Seafood. I got the blackened salmon and green beans. YUMMO!
Jim was awesome! Staff are friendly and the food was AWESOME!! Best alligator tail in the state.
If you want real seafood please go to Slapfish. The lady taking the order had me wait 20 minutes because she said she never seen a$50 bill. If they don’t know what a $50 bill looks like then my guess is they are using chicken in place of lobster.

This is the freshest seafood at the best price on the south side of Indy. They have fresh seafood market with everything from fresh seafood to oysters salmon walleye cod fillets are amazing delicious. And they have the absolute best hush puppies, they also have key lime pie. Dinners are awesome and they have fresh fish sandwiches too.

If I could give this place more stars I would. I always get the fish and chips and it's fantastic! I really don't like fish but I really love the fish here, and the baked beans. Great service and fabulous food!!!!
The Caplinger's fish sandwich is good. The service, the fresh cook was great also. The seafood counter has so many types to choose. And remember they will cook it for you for a small fee. Yummy!

Amazing fish dinners
This place was amazing! The coconut shrimp was hot and tasty. I also had the fried grouper and it was delicious. Can’t wait to try it again.
Picked up the tenderloin sandwich, smokes tuna sandwich, fries and hush puppies for lunch today!! Both were delish!! Happy to have a Caplingers location on the south side!!

Not only is this the place to come for fresh fish, it’s the place to come for dinner. I had a blackened grouper sandwich with a side of red beans and rice. The grouper had a sweet taste and was very good. The red beans and rice had a good spice to it. I would highly recommend Caplingers!
