Caribou Coffee

I came up to the counter at 2:08, and before I said a word they told me they were closed and could not serve me, so I sat down at a nearby table to read. When I left campus center at 2:57 I saw the Caribou employee hand a different customer a drink. Very disappointed.

People were so sweet. The coffee tasted amazing and was very cheap. 10/10 would recommend

I got a cup of tea from this place hoping it would help me with my cough. There were several tea options, all of which sounded great. I went with earl grey with 2 packets of sugar. The tea not only helped me with my cough but tasted great. What's the catch you might ask? This place is known to do drink refills for students, which is very nice and convenient since one can get 2-3 cups of coffee a day for just about $4. Sounds like a dream. I was looking forward to get done with my classes just to go get another cup of tea. When I finally got through a tough day and came to the cafe, I asked for a refill. The barista didn't understand what I wanted at first and then after repeatedly asking me if I wanted to refill my tea, this dude LAUGHED IN MY FACE!!! I was confused and then learned that this place doesn't refill tea, only coffee. I'm fine with not getting my tea refilled but why would he laugh at me?? i didnt know about none of that. I walked away and this man was still giggling at me

Is this place ever open? Every time I have gone, they are always closed or nobody is there to take an order.

Walked right up to the register then inexplicably had to wait 5 minutes before anyone even looked up from their devices (save for the one gentleman washing dishes at the sink). Of course they had 'just ran out' of what I wanted. Lots of other options in the vicinity with much better service- especially if you're on a limited break trying to get a drink before going back to work.

Do yourself a favor and get a hot turtle mocha. You won't regret it. I added 1 extra shot of espresso to mine and it was wonderful. Nice place! Great coffee!

I love love love this place! Eliza knows my name and order by heart, and it's always a pleasant experience getting a drink from there!

I am a student at IUI, so I go to this Caribou quite a bit with my friends. I haven't had any issues with the staff or my drinks being wrong since they got new employees.

My drinks are constantly not filled up all the way, and my friend's drink hasn't ever gotten the correct toppings (they only add whipped cream and they don't even fill it up all the way). Just today, my drink didn't have any syrup when it was supposed to.
The employees are always very nice and understanding when I ask for my drinks to be fixed, but I find it frustrating how often it happens. It seems they need more training.

I bet it is frustrating for the employees to hear everyone complaining about their drinks, and I had grace for them the first couple times. However, it seems too consistent to ignore. I usually don't complain about these things because 1) I work at a coffee shop so I can understand how annoying it can be, and 2) it usually only happens every once in a while. But, since it happens almost every time I go, I felt I need to give my thoughts.

Once again, I still appreciate the employees service and their kindness when I ask for things.

So disappointed!! It was supposed to close at 3:00, but when I got there at 2:40 it was closed.

Eliza is the best barista! Caribou has some employee rotation that can muck things up but Eliza has been a staple of consistency and excellent service!
