Definitely had better Chinese than this. Pork egg roll had no noticeable meat and cabbage tasted old. Have had better egg rolls from frozen food section of grocery store. Chicken lo mein was a similar story. Think places downtown would pride themselves in their food but I guess they just rely on having a good location instead of good food. Tossing this and getting rice king on my way home.

I ordered Mongolian Beef from China King and it was nothing but onions... very little beef.. it was so much onion they should have changed the name of the dish to Mongolian Onions!!! This was very disappointing and I would not recommend this place as it is a ran down takeout kitchen inthe middle of downtown and you can't even dine in. Covid is over.. open the dine in area and be a legit business. This place sucks!!

Very good flavors, not like the normal takeout places. Dishes that say spicy usually actually have some to them. They will make it extra spicy too if you ask. Good egg

The WORST!!! If I could submit ZERO stars I would! I ordered “fried rice” it is yellow rice with peas and carrots, sweet and sour chicken that was little pieces of fried crispy crunchy dough, and shrimp and lobster sauce that was all horrible! The shrimp egg roll has no shrimp just cabbage. The shrimp and lobster sauce was a messy mixture of mushrooms, peas, carrots, shrimp and little mushy white substance that was supposed to be lobster “I think” but looks like what is left over floating in the water after you boil crab legs… and NO SAUCE! Disgusting! The menu does not state anything about mushrooms. I have never seen anything like this in my life and I have traveled all over. I kindly called and spoke to the manager, Demi(or something like that), nicely when I got home to explain that I can not eat this bowl of whatever this was and she was very rude! I told her I can not come back and have to get rid of this so I asked for a refund. I had to order another meal from a different restaurant and pay for delivery, tip, and fee. She was NOT ACCOMMODATING AT ALL. She did not care! This was my first and absolute LAST TIME ordering anything from China King and giving them my money. I don’t care if it is free. The customer service and food is horrible!!! I normally read reviews before my first time going to a restaurant and I regret not doing so this time. DO NOT EAT THERE!!!! You will be highly disappointed!

I placed a delivery order and received a call stating my order was ready for pickup I must say I have never received a call when my order was ready to pick up I found that odd the caller wanted to argue with me about the delivery so I requested my money back

You can tell this spot is a community favorite. We had a craving for affordable chinese while we were downtown and this place came in clutch. Delicious General Tso's Combo at the right price (about $12, not including tip). Some people on here were complaining about the lady being rude, let me just say as a person of mixed asian heritage she *was not rude* but i could see how you think that. She was the ONLY person working when i went in, cooking back to back for multiple groups of people while also taking orders at the counter AND answering the phone. At that boss level of multitasking, yeah customer service might not be at that over-the-top friendly level you'd get at a place with dedicated servers whose entire job is to cater to your every whim. Please don't confuse being busy with rudeness lol- also cultural differences do play a role too but we won't get into that here. ? ?

Want to state this first, coming from New Jersey/New York, we may be used to different taste. The food was "ok" as the sauces seemed very different than what we were used to. Seaseme chicken tasted more like orange chicken, general tsos sauce was spicy as expected but had an off taste which was a very sweet. Chicken and broccoli was off too, no way to explain it.The food was edible, not trying to say it wasn't but it had flavors that we were not expecting coming from the east coast.
