Cinco de mayo cantina

This place has really, really great food but its so hard to eat here in the summertime! It's so hot in here you pretty much lose your appetite, which is such a bummer because we really love the food.

Overall great experience. Service was great, food was great, prices are comparable to other places. Come give them a try!

We were excited for the opening of thus restaurant. We went 3 times happy to have it so close to our neighborhood. The 4th time we went in for dinner we noticed we and 4 other diners were the only ones there. Our server was anxious to get us taken care of like getting it over with so she could do something else, and when my husband asked for extra napkins our server actually rolled her eyes, I couldn't hardly believe it!!! The food was not the same. Maybe a new owner or manager took over I do not know but I can promise we will not return.. there are too many Mexican restaurants close that deserve our money. This is why I can only give 1 star!!!

I stopped by for a quick lunch with a colleague and am glad we did! The lunch specials menu made it difficult for us to pick one (lol). I end up ordering the ground beef burrito, which comes with beans and rice. It was delicious! If you prefer spicy food, ask for their side of spicy salsa! It made my lunch even more delicious!

If you are on the southside of indy or just passing though you really should visit Cinco de Mayo Cantin, it is a great Mexican restaurant with wonderful staff, fabulous food, drinks, and a great atmosphere for family with kids, just adult couples, or if you're a loaner. Go check it out if you haven't already. Alex has created such a great place to spend a few hours of your evening to just chill and relax. Thank you Cinco de Mayo for de Cinco de drinko 🤣

We've started coming here for dinner almost every week. My husband loves the enchiladas. He still misses Acapulco Joe's and says if you get raw onions added it's the closest he's ever found.

I go back and forth between the chimichangas and taco salad. Both are good.
