Placed a large order at holidays at downtown Indy location which went beautifully.
But this morning at 10:40 placed an order for pickup this evening at 6:30. Paid in full for it during the checkout process in the app.
I arrived at 6:40 and was told they had run out of turkey (the meat on my order). There wasn't really an apology, either, nor logical explanation, which of course made the situation worse. I was told to make sure next time I needed to call 3 hours in advance of pickup because it takes 3 hours to smoke the turkey. Really?? I was told to go into the app, cancel the order, and then call the number on the receipt to get a refund.
The young woman at the call center was kind and helpful. I had not been automatically refunded-even after cancelling in the app- so the call was definitely necessary. I just asked for a rewards credit as getting a refund required giving all my cc details.
As far as what happened, I was told this was definitely not standard protocol to be surprised like this at pickup. The store should've called me had they anticipated running out of food.
I'll give this location another chance but wow.
Running out of food and not telling a customer who is driving to pick up is one thing. But having an attitude and telling your customer they need to do more to check on their order during the day is ugly.

Wow! Bought 3 items for $23 and I can't get WATER for free🤬 All your doing is pissing off customers that want a lil water with there meal and for what. To save 10 cents from someone stealing some soda? What a great business plan! Because you lost mine and many other are pissed about it too just from talking to people inside. Used to be really good, but they recently changed their french fries from fresh cut to these terrible frozen fries. Kind of ruins the rest of the meal.

Fooled this Texan. I’ve had worse. Collard greens and side salad were good, crispy clean fresh veggies. BBQ sauces were not consumed.

Haven't been to this place in a while that might change. Not because of the food but the staff and atmosphere in general. I had the pleasure of having Gastin take my order he was kind and let me sample the corn pudding because ive never tasted it before. It was pretty good; a lil greasy but he did say it was the end of the pan so that may be why. I thought it was still yummy. I came for the wings. Gastin let me know that they only had drumetts and no flats. I was ok with that. The staff bagging up the order were also very kind. One of them gave me an extra container to separate my wings. They were all wonderful. Now when it comes to the wings they were ok but too salty for my taste and the ranch was just ok too I've had better ranch. All in all the wings for me are a 4.5 out of 10. They were just too salty. The coleslaw i got was just ok I wish it was sweeter 3.5 out of 10. The ranch 3 out of 10. Will I go back yes will I get the wings again probably not. I did finish the wings with bbq sauce and that made them a lot better. The sweetness from the sauce help cut a lot of the saltiness. My experience with the staff definitely gets a 10 out of 10. Those young men up front were awesome and the kindness I was shown would of definitely made their mamas very proud of them.

Some of the best ribs, potato salad, and chocolate cake!! I usually get a sampler with ribs, brisket, and the chipotle meat. The brisket is so tender. I like how the ribs are tender too but, don’t fall off the bone. The chocolate cake is moist and the chocolate chips on top add a touch of perfection.
