Coat Check Coffee I happened to stumble upon on a quick Yelp search and I'm so glad I did. I was in Indianapolis for less than 24 hours and I went twice! Staff was super friendly, it's a super chill vibe inside. I highly recommend the matcha latte and the cold brew. The cold brew was super strong kept me going all day for my event! Whenever I'm back in Indy I'll stop by again.

Coat Check Coffee in Indiana presents a unique blend of modern café culture set against the backdrop of a beautifully historic building, offering patrons not only a sip of their delicious beverages but a glimpse into the architectural marvel of its surroundings. During my visit, I had the opportunity to try their latte and the bacon pepper jelly biscuit, both of which were commendable. The latte was well-prepared, boasting a perfect balance of espresso and milk, while the biscuit was a delightful fusion of flavors, making for a tasty and satisfying breakfast option. However, while the café scores high on its food and beverage offerings, I found the seating arrangements somewhat limiting given the size of the location. Despite the spacious interior, the choice to install modular co-working space-style seating over traditional tables and chairs appeared to reduce the potential number of patrons the café could accommodate at any one time. While I understand the appeal of such a modern setup in fostering a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere, a more diverse seating arrangement could enhance the overall customer experience, catering to both individuals seeking a quiet spot to enjoy their coffee and groups looking for a comfortable place to converse. The ambiance of Coat Check Coffee is further enriched by its choice of music, which contributes to a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The true highlight, however, is the building's architecture, which adds an extraordinary charm and character to the café. Its historic roots are palpable, offering an experience that transcends the mere enjoyment of coffee and food.In conclusion, Coat Check Coffee is a commendable establishment that serves excellent coffee and food, set within an impressive architectural gem. However, there is an opportunity for improvement in maximizing the use of space through a more versatile seating arrangement, which could potentially elevate the customer experience to match the high standards set by their culinary offerings and the breathtaking environment.

I left the sandwich because it didn't suit my taste, and the latte coffee was delicious. There is an orange peel, and I think it was slightly burned to maximize the coffee flavor. It's a great place to bring your laptop and work.

My husband and I both got flat whites and they were perfect. The atmosphere is very cute, it's a theatre. There are seats upstairs as well. Ordered and got our coffee very quickly.

Decent seating downstairs with some tables and hallway cushioned seating. Good seating upstairs surrounded by art with high ceilings. Seems to be classes for dance or something down the hall that can echo through the corridors. Neat building though!Wheelchair accessibility: Elevators available. Entrance to the building was stairs though.

I had one of the best lattes I've ever had here. The place is gorgeous and the quality of food is fantastic. They make all their own ingredients.

Was looking for a nice cafe near my hotel when I was in Indy for work and I was so pleasantly surprised at how cute this cafe was! There was a variety of seating and unfortunately, I didn't look around but it looked like there was an art exhibit going on upstairs as well! I loved my Butterscotch Latte and biscuit with jalapeño jelly...like a lot I can't wait to go back to try more of their unique drinks and hopefully explore more of the building!

I just visited for the first time recently. There was a great vibe inside with lots of people hanging out, studying, working, reading, etc. I was pleased to see how much space there is to sit inside. The pastries looked delicious, but I only ordered a chai tea latte. I can't remember the last time I had tea in a real cup, so that was super fun! I was disappointed because the tea was cold when I got it. I'm not sure what happened, but it was not pleasant to drink. I didn't notify anyone, but I'm sure they would have fixed it. I would definitely come back and try something else.

Is there a 10 out of 10 option? Because there should be for Coat Check Coffee. I've been wanting to stop by this location for a while and I'm so glad that I did. And I will absolutely be back. I LOVED the esthetic of the place. The vibe is so chill, it's great to go study if you are in school or if you want to just hang out at a really good coffee shop. This is for you. I had the butterscotch latte, and then another one. I also got the delicious bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. It had a little sweetness to it as well and it was so good! There is plenty of parking around the building near by if you want to park close. I also have to mention the fact that the workers were absolutely splendid! I wish I caught the gentleman's name but he was fantastic!
