Come for the food. Stay for the shopping.
I was having a dinner with my 2 sisters, and we were celebrating our Father's Birthday. Our Father passed away back in 2016, so we get together on or around his Birthday every year to remember him, and try to laugh a little. Anyway, our amazing waitress, KK, was the ABSOLUTE BEST waitress! She brought a smile and a laugh to our little get-together, and was very providing and attentive to our table. It was so nice having someone take care of us, with her expertise, while we laughed, cried, joked, and loved sharing that evening together. I would just like to let the team at 38th Street Cracker Barrel, in Indianapolis, know what an AWESOME young lady they have working for them, and who cares about their customers! It was about 2pm and not very busy but it took forever for my two to go meals and one was a veggie meal. I get all the way home and the rolls I ordered for both meals were missing and the veggies were cold. Note: I am only 2 miles from the restaurant. I didn't feel like going back out just for the rolls.

I just had a terrible experience with a pickup order from the Cracker Barrel on W 38 th Street. The food was completely cold when I got home, which was incredibly disappointing. To make matters worse, my order was incorrect, and I didn't receive everything I had requested. When I called to complain, the manager was unhelpful and even rude, showing a complete lack of sympathy for the situation. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this location and will not be eating there again.
I love the restaurant on eagle Dr by 38th st . I always feel welcome and well treated.

Excellent hostess, waiter, food, service, cashier - A DEFINITE WIN WIN EXPERIENCE and it is starting to feel like the familiar warm Cracker Barrel Country Store we have known and loved over the years (with the EXCEPTION OF ALCOHOL on the menu - that needs to BE REMOVED!

Cracker Barrel is one of my mom’s and my favorite restaurants, and I took her there for her free Veteran’s Day breakfast. While there, we got to visit with our favorite manager, Peter. He made our visit perfect by stopping by our table and visiting with us. We can’t wait to go back over the holidays!
