We were at the Pacers game last night and the Pacers outscored the Hornets in the 3rd quarter. We were excited to get free cheese curds tonight with dinner, but the location in Beech Grove said they weren't participating in the promotion. The store is in Indianapolis, and should be participating, but they aren't. We left without buying anything, went across the street to Fazoli's and got their advertised special. They were participating in their ad promotion! We won't be back to that Culver's and wonder if any of the stores in the indianapolis-metro area are participating. Do we need to call ahead of time? If I have to go to that much trouble to find a store that is participating in a local promotion, it's not worth it. VERY BAD WAY TO CONVINCE CUSTOMERS TO COME IN AND NOT OFFER THE DEAL.

Buckle up because I’ve got a story to tell. I stopped by target and decided to get Culver’s, my mom ordered it so I could pick it up on the way home. To my surprised and dismay, there are in fact two Culver’s located near target. I checked in for curdside at 9:22 pm. Waited. Continued to wait. The minutes passed. Little did I know, they were frantically phoning my mom, who was frantically phoning me. Once again luck was not on my side and my phone was on sleep mode. By the time I realized maybe I was at the wrong Culver’s, it was too late. The correct Culver’s was 15 minutes away, and it was 9:55, five minutes before close.
I decided, boldly, to try anyways. I drove over, arriving ten minutes past closed, and pulled into a curdside parking spot. I couldn’t press the I’m here button, because I my mother had pressed it 50 minutes ago when she thought I was at the correct Culver’s. So I just waited. I didn’t want to bother them, maybe they wouldn’t notice and they’d just go home. Maybe they would notice and deliver the devastating news that my burger and fries were lost to time. Shockingly, something even better happened.
15 minutes had passed and I had lost hope. But then, just as I was about to pull away, my savior came knocking on my window. One of the employees brought my food out, REMADE FRESH. Nikki, my hero, graced me with my paper bag and was very polite about my tardiness.
The moral of the story is, shoutout to this amazing Culver’s. And, shoutout to the amazing Nikki, who saved my day, my life, and like 40 dollars. I will never forget your curd kindness.
