We are from out of town but dairy Queen is always our go to for ice cream. They were busy but the 1 and only guy working there was amazing. He got our order right even though he had to write it down and couldn't make it till we got to the window. He had several cars in front of us and behind us but got everything correct. I hope the owners of this establishment pay him more than minimum wage and he gets a bonus because I would have quit and walked out if I had to do all that by myself.
5 stars and above for the guy working, 4 stars because the owners need to hire more people and clearly don't care about their employees.
The š„¶ blizzards were pretty good as.always, but there was only one guy working th entire restaurant and with the four guys in front of the two of us, he was a bit overwhelmed. 1 guy to take orders, make the chili for the chili dogs, make the dogs themselves, warm the buns, make blizzards out of whatever magic machine Santa clause supplied Dairy Queen to create such a wonderful thing ( i typically go for the strawberry š cheesecake blizzard with the strawberry going down the middle.....(Right now I'm looking like Homer Simpson looking at a fresh dozen). Good blizzards understaffed though
The employee working there is very rude. He wasnāt able to take my order at the speaker for some reason so I pulled around to the window to see if the store might have been empty or closed. Just to be yelled at by some guy saying he wouldāve taken my order if I would have waited, after I waited 3 mins. Very sassy, I do not recommend. #YesHeIs iykyk
literally donāt go, they just close whenever they want and hide from you when you walk up to order
Iām guessing either someone didnāt show up for work or they were closed down.
Lights were on but no oneās home. I door was boarded up, No one was inside, tables outside where broken.
Terrible service. They donāt accept DQ gift cards?!?!
Good taste...
Austin and Karen opened up the store for our large group after closing and were very generous!
Walked up to the window on a Saturday afternoon, quick and efficient service. Nice people.
I was wanting a reeses pieces blizzard but was told that they don't have that anymore just the regular reeses cups. I told them I can't have that because I'm allergic to chocolate. I ordered a strawberry crunch instead. After getting home to try and enjoy it, I found it had chocolate chunks in it. Sadly I had to throw it out and waste my money. Wish the person would have actually listened to me and realized what I said about my allergy and recommended something that didn't contain chocolate. I was the only customer at that time so they can't say it was busy.
Restaurantji Recommends
My specific order is consistently perfect each time I order! As is the friendliness!
UPDATE: Multiple weeks later & I can still say the same thing but add that this crew of just a limited few, do fantastic! 2 person crews often doing the job of a 5-6 person crew! OH TIP$$ ā¦ā¦ donāt forget to tip$$! You KNOW they donāt make what the work they do is worth so tips probably help! Smiles!

They're always very nice there and have everything ready quick :) There are a lot of fast cars on 52nd but it's a nice DQ to walk up or bike to.
