The flavor here is truly what sets this place on the pinnacle of everywhere Hot Chicken. Not just heat, but it really is more flavorful no matter the heat level than anywhere else in Indy. Keep up the great work!
First time dining at Dave’s and I am impressed!! They have a “no-chicken” sandwich with cauliflower and it is delicious! The young lady at the counter, DeJa, was so helpful and pleasant to talk to. I definitely recommend this restaurant.Vegetarian options: The “no-chicken” option was delicious.Dietary restrictions: I eat a plant based dietKid-friendliness: The Young lady at the counter, DeJa, was very patient with my daughter.

Ok so I scout for halal meat options so I have a list of go to places handy when I am craving good tenders or burgers and I stumbled upon Dave’s hot chicken.First impressions, the place is swanky and spotlessly clean. Deja my server gave me suggestions of nice combos which helped me save money else I was planning to order 3 tenders and slaw which costed a bit more. The to go order took less than 10 minutes and I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the tenders (holy, Moly!), I loved the side of Kale salad which wasn’t overpowering flavor with Kale but just the right amount.Now the tender itself is crispy, delicious and spicy. I ordered Hot and I expected a bit more spice but it was delicious nevertheless. The Dave’s sauce on the side which looked like southwest tasted really good and added a nice touch. I am not sure why the reviews said the chicken tasted sweet. It was good and on point.The crowd at broad ripple was happening and many groups were already moving around celebrating St Patrick’s day. Really good!
