My husband and I went in tonight for dinner. It was not busy when we went in. After we sat we already knew what we wanted so we went ahead and ordered. We sat there for 45 minutes and started realizing that people around us who came in 20 minutes after us was getting their food. The waitress then came up to us and said your food will be out in a minute. We said ok no problem we already waited this long. 15 minutes later the waitress came to us and said the kitchen staff has lost your ticket so I need to put it back in. She was very rude.. didn't apologize for the inconvenience and said all I can offer is a discount. We said no we should have our food free waiting all this time and being lied to that out food was about to come out. She said no sorry can you remind me what you ordered so I can put it in. We told her no we would go somewhere else so she just walked away. Not sure if it was actually the kitchens fault or the fact that she just didn't put our ticket in because she was too busy trying to hurry and sit everyone in her section and take orders before her coworkers could get them. Very unprofessional and the situation was not ok.

Kid-friendliness: We had my 3 year old granddaughter with us & she was a bit active tonight, but Mikya our waitress just kept talking with her bout everything and she helped keep her occupied... Thank you Mikya & Denny's staff ! Iowa Loves you guys & your food .. :)
