The wonderful business has released a press notice stating they are permanently closed effective immediately.

The absolute very best breakfast in this city! Family owned and operated and it shows in every way. The food is scratch made, prices are so low, the employees are so friendly. Was sad that they closed temporarily when the owner passed a few weeks ago amd have been very anxiously waiting for them to reopen. No place compares to the quality of food or service we get every time we come. They know us by name and remember our orders to the finest detail. Please come back soon!!!

A absolute staple to the Keystone/Broadripple area! Great food, donuts and Staff, and at a good price. I am literally addicted to their breakfast sandwiches (croissant personally) and can't even look at others the same anymore. If you don't know, now you know, no excuses. Get there early for to ensure variety of donuts.

If you're wanting an old fashioned 50's style diner with the original decor, this place is a great little hole in the wall with good food. When I was younger, I would only go there for the donuts, and then one day I decided to have breakfast. Nice surprise !Now I go back for breakfast and lunch. These places are going away: so you'd better use them so that they don't. The prices are very reasonable. Enjoy !!

One of my absolute favorite places to grab donuts in Indy! Cash only, so please be prepared! They are the sweetest family owned business and you can tell the food/donuts are good because there is almost always a line! They do have breakfast items but please be aware of how small the establishment is. As another Yelper mentioned, a true test of how good a donut shop is, is to order a plain, glazed yeast donut. As a lover of yeast donuts, their is my perfect ideal donut! Soft, cloudy texture and not too heavy/thick on the glaze. I am also a s***** for jelly donuts so you'll always find me coming out of here with a wild assortment to please others but also a glazed and jelly one for myself. Don't skip out on this tiny spot!

Breakfast was delicious. We hadn't visited here for a long while. However the place could use a makeover.

Want an affordable place to have breakfast which includes an awesome tasting donut? Here you go. I used to say I judge every donut shop by their glazed yeast. I still want to try every glazed yeast I can, but for the donut shop, I think it is best to judge them by the glazed cake. It is a melt in your mouth treat that is unique tot the donut world. The yeast was still good, but that cake is where it's at here! Yum!

Talk about nostalgia, my boyfriend took me here one Saturday and at first I wasn't impressed, it's an older building/location in the city, but once we were inside the staff was cordial, it's a diner too. We had simple breakfasts, they were quite tasty and the donut selection was TOP NOTCH. A much larger variety then other shops, classics like butternut crunch, tiger tails, and I tried a maple apple fritter. I've told my family about this hidden gem and I will definitely be going back.

The Donut shop is a nice small location for breakfast. Usually, this place is great for the morning after a long night or a quick bite to eat before work. It’s very affordable and usually the food is 5 stars. However, my previous visit I got horrible food poisoning from either the sausage burrito or the oatmeal. It has been a very rough experience, so I would avoid those menu items unless cooking time is addressed. Could’ve been a rare mistake, but wanted to warn everyone because I’ve been blowing up the toilet the last 2 days.
