We stopped by here on a biking trip. I would love to come back here for dinner some time with my wife. We got a quick lunch then headed back out. We found a great, shaded table and relaxed with a large pitcher of ice water. My only complaint is that there were few shaded options.

We had a party of 12, many visiting from out of town, and had a fabulous time at the Dugout. We loved the entertainment, Mimi and Orvis. They were engaging and took requests which everybody enjoyed. We will definitely be back!

Was in town for the WWE Royal Rumble. Visited on Friday night for dinner and was super impressed with the service and hospitality of Dugout Bar! The food was awesome and the Beer was Ice Cold. Will definitely be coming back on my next trip to Indy!

Called to ask if they were open o. Thanksgiving and she said they were open 366 days of the year. Went there and they were closed

The waiting staff at the bar was the rudest I have seen in nearly 15 years. She was dismissive and condescending, wouldn't answer a simple question because there was a "private party". She basically was shoving me out of the way like garbage to the side room. Also, the clientele is not diverse at all; everyone I saw belongs to a single ethnic group. So, was the waitress rude because I wasn't what she's used to? Or is it that this bar encourages only one kind of clients to visit? The chicken or the egg.
Amazing ambience and warm people. Loved the vibe of this place.
Vegetarian options: I am a vegetarian and asked them to remove meat for me which they did, loved it !

Visiting from Hotlanta. Stopped in by chance and had the BEST experience! Loni behind the bar was fantastic! Met several very cool people and everyone was super friendly! A true dive bar with character. Plus... My veggie pizza was legit! If you're in the area it would be a crime not to stop in

If I could give it a zero rating, I would. My friend and I approached the Dugout. The bartender was sitting outside, chatting and laughing with someone. She said to us, "I'm the bartender. I'll be with you in a minute." After a longer wait than it should have been, she finally came inside. She never said a word. No "hello" or "would you like some water"? Nothing! I have too much to type! When you're black, it's hard to know whether or not the person is prejudiced or just rude. We left!
I'll tell everyone I know about my experience there. What's awful, the place seems to be a great vibe. I'll never get to experience it!
