Eddy's Neighborhood Bar & Grill

Beautiful day but terrible food. This is the one and only time I will be going to this establishment. Before we even sat down, our waitress told us to order quicky and simple as the kitchen was backed up. Food was flavorless, margarita didn't taste like anything. The sloppy Joe chips where good for the most part and honestly the only thing with flavor.

The waitress was never available. Kept whipping her hair into my kids food. When I asked her for the check she ignored me. Never gave me a chance to speak if we needed anything but instead walked off looking lost.

The smokehouse burger was the biggest disappointment. With the meals taking over an hour to get. Extremely hard bun but yet soggy from the oil? The fries even had no taste. Ketchup was the only thing edible. My kids, not picky eaters, refused to eat the kids pizza. I couldnt stomach eating more than 2 bites of the burger (ordered it medium rare and it came nearly well done). I didn't think microwave Lunchables where still a thing. Massive let down for the small community.

Great neighborhood bar. Enjoyed the breaded tenderloin and an ice cold beer. Met the new owners Dawn and Ryan two of the nicest people ever. Sara was excellent as always. Can not wait to come back for my favorite tenderloin in the state. Everything was awesome

Best restaurant in the Geist area! Amazing food, amazing service, must try ❤️ The new steak sliders are out of this world, the burgers are always cooked to perfection, and the mahi mahi sandwich is incredible!

Our first visit here, won't be back. Food was nothing special and the service was poor. The server was friendly enough, but we were left feeling forgotten. It was 3 in the afternoon, so maybe a shift change issue? Nonetheless, I would not recommend.

The server was a bit snippy when she first came to our table for drink orders. We opted to start with the mini crab cakes and what a disappointment. They were pasty and covered in sweet and sour sauce?? With a sopping mess of ranch on the side. Our entrees looked great but were completely bland. Flavorless burgers. The salad was the only thing that was good. The table behind us was insanely loud and obnoxious the entire time we were there. This place is definitely not worth visiting.

Bad service today. A shame because we enjoy going here and it was a beautiful day to sit on the patio. Our waiter was lost. At one point, before getting our food, the server came to our table asking if we wanted to order desert or just get the check? As I said, we had not eaten yet.

Had to go in and ask for our food since table arriving after us were being served theirs. It was pretty clear that the order was never placed or placed after great delay. When the food did arrive, part of our order was left off.

After that had to go inside and ask to get our bill.

Very disappointed.

We love the patio here, and usually the food. Sometimes you can even get lucky and see a water view from your table. But today we were disappointed, the Mahi was over grilled, and dry, the french fries had taken a salt bath, and were just covered. The spinach salad was good but I have had better. Their signature tenderloin was still good, as well as the service, but the patio was in bad shape. The flowers are usually spectacular, and is part of what makes this patio awesome. But today the flowers were burnt up, and had not been tended to for quite sometime, I would have been embarrassed to open an establishment, with the flowers looking so rough. They had tons of dead leaves in the planters, and the sweet potato vines could have been a trip hazard for a person not watching. As they were all over the ground, and should have been trimmed back.
I was also shocked at the rusting and peeling paint on the tables next to the front windows. I don't think anyone living, or visiting in that area would have a patio table that looked that bad. It was horrible looking, large chucks of paint curled upward, and should have been removed from the patio until it was sanded and repainted. I am sorry to see this place go downhill in such a great location. Maybe someone who cares about the area, will buy it and give it a face lift. Even the flowers in the parking lot had fallen over onto the sidewalk, and were not being maintained properly. It was just shocking. I hope they get there act together, as fall is coming when the patio's are so much nicer to experience in the cooler weather.

My daughter and I stopped in to grab a bite before heading home. We ordered carry out m, a Swiss and mushroom burger and wings. The staff was nice and accommodating. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened my box to view my burger. The bun was to the side to marvel at its deliciousness and when I saw the pickles separated I clapped. Then behold there where plenty of tomatoes and lettuce back their to load my burger! I inhaled it while driving did I don’t have a picture! My daughter didn’t want to share any of her wings either. Quality food is worth the time it takes to make it!

The sloppy Joe nachos were so good. Will be going back for sure. They are also pet friendly on the patio and will bring out a bowl of water for them.

We’ve been going to Eddy’s thru 5 owners. Lately the service has really dropped off as all of the experienced staff have left. We still go occasionally because we love dining on the patio & seeing friends, but it’s not what it used to be sadly.

Came in with my kids to grab a bite after a school event. Great food and service! Had the blackened tilapia and it was solid. We will be back.

One of the all time greats of the area.
