Happened to find this gem while attending Gencon this summer.
The gluten-free menu was great. Lots of options. I had the Sauerbraten, and my husband had the sausage. We were both pleased with our meals. The red cabbage and the German potato salad were delicious, too. We got extra potato salad to go because it was so good. Beers were great as well as the service.

A hidden gem for hearty, German food and plenty of beer ?We ordered the pork schnitzel and the bayrischer schweinebraten as our entrees with the spatzel, potato pancakes, green beans and fries as our sides.Pork schnitzel was crispy and easy to eat with a fork and knife. The bayrischer schweinebraten was juicy and featured a rich gravy. My favorite air was the potato pancakes! Think of a thick, hashbrown with savory onions in it. Then they had a fresh, minced apple sauce for it...

All of the staff are fun to talk too, and the food is always fantastic. I have never attended a festival here, but I imagine it would be a good time.
Sitting in the beer garden is always enjoyable on a nice evening, and their specials are always delicious too!
