It makes sense as to why this is one of the highest rated Mexican places in Indy. As many of the fellow reviewers, I too am visiting from California and wanted to test out some places. When I saw the menu, I knew I had to try it.
I got a large order but the main things to mention from it was the Pechuga Gallo de Oro, Asada Chimichanga, the Chorizo Dip, and the salsas. I didn't think grilled chicken topped with white cheese, chorizo, and a couple pineapple slices would've been too great, but I'm so glad I was wrong. The flavor of all of it together with the corn tortillas, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and orange salsa is still making my mouth water.
The Asada Chimichanga, although not "Mexican" (from who you ask), was still so good. The meat wasn't dry like you'd find in other Chimichanga's, and there was this sauce or crema on top that made it have a great balance of crunch and softness.
The chorizo dip was definitely different than what I'm used to. Usually when you see chorizo and white queso dip it's in a cast iron skillet with a small piece of chorizo and the cheese hardens after 5 minutes. DEFINITELY not what I got here, it was a great queso that never hardened with a hearty serving of chorizo ground up and mixed in there. Mix that with their orange salsa, Verde salsa, or their guac salsa, and you've got trouble on your hands!
All in all, this place is better than 75% of the places I've been to back home in CA and the southwest. You will not regret going here, and I WILL be back

We flew in from Canada and immediately went to this restaurant, based on the reviews. The staff was SO warm and welcoming and starting serving us before we were even seated (which was also immediate). The atmosphere was fun and cheery but not overwhelming- very appreciated after a long day of travel. Then the food came… It was all delicious, and I mean ALL of it! 3 kids and 2 adults were all extremely happy with the food! I should mention this was back in August and it’s now December, that’s how good this place is. Our family still talks about the great people and food there. I sincerely hope we can go back one day soon and catch up with our server and eat more of their delicious meals!
This is the best Mexican I have had in a long time. The staff is so friendly and so polite. They gave us free cheese sauce with our chips and the food was amazing. I got the steak chimichanga and it was the best I have ever had and my wife’s birria y carnitas tacos were also amazing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

What a gem of a restaurant. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed and had prompt service. A big menu with Spanish as the first language. I asked about vegetarian options and our server gave me nice options. I really enjoyed quesadillas. Amazing complex flavors and textures. The fresh mushrooms and cheese inside were so good. Love the free chips and salsa and friendly service.
