The service was the worst. The worst margaritas I had ever in a Mexican restaurant. The staff was not ready to listen what we were requesting, they just wanted us to eat and finish fast and get out from the place. The food was not great at all. I almost got sick after eating there

Food was ok. It seemed a little underseasoned. However, I do tend to enjoy spice, some could be me. Cheese dip seemed like it was mostly cream. They do have a large selection of foods and a large children's menu with food that my children approved of and ate without hesitation. Atmosphere was good. There's a nice wishing well inside and the ambiance is relaxing. Service of the waiter was great. He was polite and attentive. Everyone else in the restaurant seemed to not really care and looked like they either didn't really want to be there or they had all stayed up all night the previous night. If you're looking for some ok Mexican food where your young children will be happy campers, this is your place.
Kid-friendliness: A very large children's menu with both Mexican and American foods.

Came in there for our lunch break, Apparently they only had one server working. Her customer service skills were horrible despite the fact that there was barely anyone in there. It took forever to order, and then when we got our food. It was overgreasy and the taco meat was cooked overdone and burnt Chips were stale. Will never go back again.
They have no taco tues deals. But not bad otherwise.

I would never recommend this restaurant ever ! The worst place you can go to the food was very nasty very dry the steak was all burn the chicken very dry my husband got a T-bone steak first of all that was never a T-bone steak it was a piece of pork very dry very hard to chew he couldn’t even eat it at all he spent about $75 and when we told our waitress he was very rude just arguing back and forth with my husband. We end up telling the manager there she did admit it that something was wrong the the T-bone steak she said we was not the first customers who had complained about the food after the waitress guy telling us we was the first one to complain when his manager said there was other customers who had complain. Honestly it’s the worst place you could ever eat a dry T-bone steak and a very nasty taste to it like an old piece of steak that just have been sitting there for days !!!!!! Never coming back here again!!!!!

Today was not a great day for El Jaripeo.
We were sat right away, but then over 15 minutes went by before we had to get our waitresses attention to get our drink order. Okay. You’re busy, we understand.. no problem.
But then only one of our four dishes came out, and another 15 minutes went by before another two came out, while still waiting on the last one. Well we’re not going to eat while someone is just sitting there waiting on their food. Then, when the last dish finally did come, it was wrong.
I wish I was exaggerating on the time frame, but I’m not. The only positive here is that the manager was very apologetic. We offered to pay for our food, but the manager told us no. We left without eating, and went elsewhere. I’m not sure if we’ll be back.
