Food was good, atmosphere was peaceful and the service was fast and attentive to the guests. Prices where affordable compared to some other places I’ve eaten and quality and amount of food for the price is worth the visit.

Welcome into El Rodeo. It definitely isn't what it used to be. Service is always top quality! We get the same order. The pollo your way and each time, the amount of cheese(queso) is less and today it was non existent. We had to use the queso we ordered for our chips.Then we always get fried ice cream.This again has gotten smaller each visit.It went from the bowl shaped shell to 4 triangle chips and a scoop of ice cream that is the size of maybe an ice cream scoop. Honestly its smaller than that.This visit was by far the most disappointing so far.I got my food to go...to top it all off our bill was the most expensive it has ever been in the 10 year we have been visiting this location, ordering the same food.To pay $50 (not including the tip) for 2 people is beyond disappointing.The service is great, and always fast service otherwise we would not jeep returning to this location. Honestly we probably have made our last visit to El rodeo today. In today's economy I expect better food for that price.

Years ago, I had a shrimp chimichanga that was one of the best things I'd ever eaten. I spent my entire life since then hunting down those chimmies! In my quest to find the perfect chimi, I tried many many restaurants' versions. When I came back to Indy to visit my family, someone wanted to eat here and I finally found them! They were exactly what I had remembered and a quick google maps search of the area I remembered being in when I'd had those first shrimp chimichangas over a decade ago showed that there was an El Rodeo right along the path we'd have taken (All I knew was we'd been coming back to Plainfield from Fishers). I finally re-found the world's best chimichanga! I've tried so many trying to find these that I feel like I can reasonably claim to be an expert, so if you like chimichangas, you really ought to give El Rodeo a try!

Great service, great food I had no issues here not like some of neediest people I seen post bad reviews. There were so many people that eat here frequently tonight says something about the place. I travel all over the USA on music tours is hard to find good places to eat.
