El Rodeo is our go to for delicious Mexican food and great service. My husband and I love this restaurant. We eat there almost weekly. The family that own and run it are so nice and welcoming!

Went in at 5pm on a Saturday evening. Very few people in the place on a Saturday night, I was wondering why, but after eating here, I undersatnd.
After seating and receiving the menu, we ordered non sweet iced tea with lemon and an additional salsa. The waitress returned, no lemon., no salsa, I didn't say anything.
We set there for over 10 minutes after receiving our drinks trying to order. There were 3 employees, one being our waitress watching what I think was social media on a phone. My wife told this waitress 3 times we were ready to order. The manager was staring out the window for some reason at the patio. Finally, the waitress came back and we ordered our food, I reminded her of the lemon and the salsa that I didnt receieve. After asking 2 times she brought the salsa and lemon over. The food came within 5 minutes which I thought was great. We asked for some extra napkins and didn't receive them, I asked the manager staring out the window and he brought over napkins.
Long story, we finished our meal with no-one checking in, still at the front counter, 3 of them watching social media and having a great time. We set there for an additional 20 minutes and no-one came and checked on us. I finally got up and went to the register to pay, my wife wanted a box, and the manager still looking out the window, got her a to go box.
It was not the experience we were used to having at this restaurant. BTW.... the table next to us was having the same type issues as we were. I paid, didn't leave a tip.
All in all horrible customer service for the same food you can get at any Mexican restaurant, and probaly cheaper.
I can't recommend this place anymore, it must have changed hands. Also, the restroom was in horrible condition for being so slow.

Got food for carry out and missing two small items (extra tortillas). Called to get it refunded only for that item which around 3 dollars. They were adamant they put it in the bag checking with staff. They offered me credit for 1.50 for future. I just wanted it to be put back in my card, but credit for future was the only option… since there was no resolution I asked for my 20% tip I gave them to be refunded. They wouldn’t refund me 8 dollars stating clover machine would not let them. Not sure what to believe what is or is not possible. They did not make it right. Food was good otherwise as usual. We eat here occasionally and have not had other issues.

Secret Santa

To Alyssa Howard and Cindy Heffren, you don’t come often at all because you ordered a FAJITA salad which is literally just the salad with guac and sour cream and tomato. You even requested ā€œno sour creamā€ when your order was CONFIRMED by your server. You meant to order a TACO SALAD. Which is WAY off to the order YOU confirmed was correct the first time. Then you complained that the meat portion wasn’t to your liking. Okay whatever. Then you claimed to have found a hair. Girllllll… lol, I found both of your facebooks so fast and that was definitely YOUR hair. Not a single person on staff has light colored hair lol. I’m glad you guys got kicked out because If I was the manager, I would’ve also cussed you out fr. You should both just stay home and cook šŸ’• you ruined MY meal with MY family by making a scene for something that was your fault.

We have been going to this restaurant for years and have always had decent service and good food, but not today! We will never go back.
We went out for my birthday lunch. They got my sister in law’s food wrong, then acted extremely annoyed to have to fix it. We had three different waitresses help us even though we only had two meals and two waters and they were not at all busy. I was putting my food into a takeout container when I scooped a huge hair onto my chip. When the second waitress finally came back I showed it to her then asked her to just take it all away since I would not be taking it home now. She took it away. No one came over to talk to us or to say anything for over 20min and we had to finally ask for a manager. She said there wasn’t one today and proceeded to walk away. About 5 minutes later a man comes over to ask what was wrong, we started to tell him what all had happened and he interrupts us and says, ā€œyou just pay and never come back!ā€ So multiple rude servers, terrible service, incorrect and hairy food and then the person in charge to completely interrupt us and tell us to just ā€œpay and never come back.ā€ This was the most terrible customer service response to having something wrong with your food that I have ever experienced in my entire life at any restaurant. I will NEVER go back here and will tell everyone I know to never go back again as well. I have never been treated so badly, especially when it was all completely their fault.
