This particular restaurant has never given nothing but the best service money can buy , and the food is never second best .Mr. Cesar and the executive cook , actually all of the staff at there did an outstanding job rendering the service , the preparing and serving of the food .. Absolutely wonder . My daughter and I are delighted to give this review , because I was treated with such kindness and hospitality , and considering we are from Louisiana , hospitality certainly goes a long way .. My heritage is New Orleans .. Thanks so much for the optimal services .. ?

Ceaser was our waiter. He was very very good and he can tell the guy really cared about the company. He explained to us how important it is for him that the guest enjoy are happy and enjoy the restaurant. Thanks Ceaser.

Was told by the waiter that the kitchen was backed up and would take 20-25 minutes to order off the menu. It really didn't look that crowded but glad he mentioned it as we were attending a conference in the hotel. Buffet was ok but felt like we were eating in an airport lounge with unflavored food that had been sitting. Staff was friendly.

Food took about 45 minutes to come out and we were the only ones in there. Was quite frustrating. French toast was way too firm and bland. Definitely don't order that. Omelette was decent but they were missing a couple ingredients I requested - Avocado, goat cheese, and hot sauce. So before you sit down, make sure they have in stock what's listed in the menu. Portions were also far too small for the price. They also don't serve alcohol so no mimosas, but maybe that's just an Indianapolis thing. Servers were quite friendly. But I definitely don't recommend this place until they turn a few things around.

Cesar gave great food recommendations and was really helpful in giving us pointers for the area while we stayed during Gencon.

Overall unimpressive. First, didn't realize this place is in the hotel. I knew the menu was limited but the food was cold or burnt. The service was slow and saw wait staff chatting or on their phones while we waited for refills. Overpriced for not even decent hotel food. Would not recommend.

I was making a Mother's Day reservation at what I thought was a real restaurant. Instead, it was just a typical hotel-style buffet with nothing special in place for the occasion.

So while the food was fine - I don't feel like what we experienced was what we thought we were walking in to. This had no breakfast menu or hash browns - or options -- our only option was a $24 breakfast buffet. The guy making the omelets and waffles was great - but when you think you will be able to order whatever you want - and maybe don't want to spend a lot and instead HAVE to get the $24 buffet - it's a problem. We were also the only people in the place and service was still kinda slow, had to flag down the one waiter a couple of times.

I had the build your own omelette with sausage, mushrooms, and cheddar cheese. It was very tasty. Since this restaurant is in the same building as the Hyatt I would think the seat covers would have already been repaired. Other than that nice!

Lunch during a convention can be a challenge. The Rooster takes reservations!!! The menu is sufficiently diverse to allow anyone to find a good choice. Perfect convention lunch food. The price point is also good. High enough to allow good ingredients, but low enough to fit any budget at a convention. Conveniently located in the Hyatt, 2 blocks from the Convention Center. The service was a little slow. Not a good choice if time is of the essence.
