I had a great experience at Fazoli’s, and much of that is thanks to the excellent management. The manager on duty was professional, attentive, and genuinely committed to providing quality service. They made sure the dining area was clean, orders were going out efficiently, and the staff stayed friendly and focused during a busy lunch rush. What stood out most was their presence and leadership. They weren’t just behind the counter—they were active, checking on tables, helping team members, and even stepping in when needed without hesitation. That kind of leadership sets the tone for a positive work environment, and it showed in how well the team worked together. It’s clear this manager takes pride in the customer experience and their role. I’ll definitely be returning—not just for the food, but for the welcoming and well-run atmosphere they help create.

Once upon a Friday, I wanted some delicious fazoli's. I hit the drive-thru and ordered one sub. Simple. Being the only one there, I figure this should be pretty quick as I've just got out of my second job and needed something to eat before I go home.
After about 5 minutes of waiting at the window, another car pulled up behind me. I was told to move forward to a designated spot, and someone would bring my food out to me. No problem.
20 minutes later, the person who pulled up behind me got 2 huge bags of handed to them, and they left.
From where Im sitting at, I can clearly see inside the restaurant and notice that there's nobody inside this place except 2 employees who were standing around by the registers and 2 behind the kitchen window talking to each other like they didn't have a sudden flood of online orders to complete. There wasn't a single to go bag on the warming shelf waiting for those door dash drivers.
I drove back up to the drive-thru window to check in to see where my sandwich was cause at this point, I'm genuinely curious as well as a little hangry.
The guy who took my order and my money acted like he didn't know who I was or what I was talking about until I reminded him with a receipt that I did in fact make a purchase even though its been a while. He then went back to see what was going on, and it turns out, according to him, they just started making my sub - we're now 30 minutes after I ordered the thing.
He goes on to tell me that coincidentally, a flood of online orders came in the exact moment I made my order in the drive thru and they just had to take care of those online orders (as well as the person that ordered 2 bags of food after me) before they could get to making my one sub. After telling me this, one more car pulls up behind me and orders over the mic. The guy at the window asks me to pull forward yet again because he needed to take the guys money behind me.
After a back and fourth with this kid, I told him he already took my money long before this other customer even thought to grab some Fazolis.
I go on to say that at this point I'm not moving until I get my food. He then went to check one more time for the sandwich as if one of the employees standing around talking actually did something in that time. Not even 10 seconds later, lo and behold, it was ready to go! He hands me my food and, upon inspection, is right about room temperature. The breadsticks were just awful and cold because, like the sub, they had been sitting on the counter the entire time.
I don't know who in their right mind is leaving this place 5 star reviews, but I'll take 2 of whatever they're smoking.
