The food and ESP the staff were so friendly and amazing. I felt like i was in Mexico. Sunday brunch is the best way to keep the party going.

Absolutely fantastic. The place itself is so adorable and the food is phenomenal. We sat at the bar and had great service. Excellent drinks with fresh ingredients. I would highly recommend the rib entrée, costillas I think was the name. They are fall off the bone tender and deliciously spicy. The poblano fundido was also excellent, love love love the grilled cheese on top. I'll be back soon to try the tacos!

This was our first time visiting after driving by on our way to NMB. We're so glad we finally decided to try it! The service and the food were great. We're looking forward to visiting again soon!

Chili pepper queso and guac with pomegranate and pumpkins seeds were absolutely delish. I got the empanadas which were on the sweeter side. They were filled with ground meet, raisins, olives, carrots, almonds and topped with mole rojo. Highly recommend making reservations as the restaurant is smaller.

Set your expectations appropriately. We visited Festiva sight unseen upon being invited by friends. We had never read anything about it and therefore had no expectation outside of being told it was Mexican food. Ambiance - very casual, and might I add - LOUD. We sat at a booth for 4 and had a hard time hearing one another. This was a unanimous opinion in our group, and we don't mind moderate noise. It was very loud. Food - No complimentary chips and salsa. You do get a "snack," which we all thought was a waste of time. Our night was a puff pasta and garbanzo beans in a tiny cast iron skillet about 4" in diameter. Cute, but kinda pointless and flavorless without the sauce drizzle. We ordered chips - not your usual chip fare. A tougher chip and ours were quite over-salted. The 3-pepper quest is good and the gauc was very fresh. Our entrees were the winner of the evening. Each dish was plated well and high on the flavor scale. Not your usual portion sizing compared to traditional Mexican, but not too small. Carne asada, tacos, and enchiladas were all very good and each patron was pleased. The spiced coffee is delicious. House margarita was good but nothing spectacular in our experiences - and $42 for a "pitcher" that is pretty small. 4 stars for flavorful food and great service. It was good. It wasn't great. Pricey for the experience and very loud. We won't be back considering we can get great Mexican fare and drinks all around Indy for a better price.

Guacamole is amazing and very fresh! Will, our waiter, took excellent care of us, even refilling our waters after we had closed out our tickets.

The place is super cute. The margaritas were fantastic. The service was good. The food was good not great, but it all came out room temp. Everyone was a little disappointed in the temperature. My enchiladas hardly had any sauce. My husband had the same problem. The parking lot was super small so you may have to find street parking but that shouldn't keep you from giving it a try.

This place is a total gem! I've been twice – dinner and brunch – and it was awesome both times. Forget your regular Mexican spots, the food here is unique and super flavorful. The drinks are the real star though – so many choices and they're super creative. Plus, they'll make non-alcoholic versions which is awesome for groups. Definitely coming back, it's my new go-to when I'm feeling lazy.

Festiva is light and airy - the perfect backdrop for a girls night out for margaritas. However, I've been twice for brunch and it's lacking. First, the brunch drinks menu is misleading about the price of coffee. It's $5/cup, not $5 for a pitcher of coffee. Second, the food is rather bland - dry limes and lackluster sauces & seasoning. The first time I came, my biscuits and gravy came out cold. I want to like this place so bad, because it's adorable! I will have to try dinner next time.

One of the gems of Indianapolis. Consistently great food and service. Innovative gourmet Mexican with phenomenal flavors. Wonderful cocktails and bar options. A definite favorite.

Make sure to have 2 hours to eat. Food sits in window for 20 minutes while waiting for other dish. Edit: make sure to have 2 and a half hours to eat.

Staff is great, but the food is subpar and overpriced. Loco is down the street.

I cannot say enough good things about Festiva. Service is amazing. Food is delish. Ambiance is spot on. I guess if there is a draw back it is that the parking lot is too small. If you like Mexican food and great cocktails you should definitely give Festiva a try.
