I had lunch today and just wanted the brisket grilled cheese with no bread and for some reason I was given leaf lettuce, with a little bit of brisket and way too heavy on the cheese. I then asked for the korean bbq tacos and I was given more meat than could possibly go in 2 tacos. Why couldn't I get this amount of brisket the first time when I ordered the grilled cheese? This was a frustrating experience to say the least.

The ambiance was amazing, the view was amazing, but the food—not so much. Hands down, the most bland meal I have ever had. It was my first time putting salt and pepper on a dish at a restaurant. The fish and chips were poorly battered and the Mahi Mahi was average at best. The only good thing we had were the French fries! I genuinely considered feeding the fish and chips to my dogs. Our server was average as well. Overall, I would come back for drinks and the view, but ultimately skip all food entirely.

Cloe was amazing she was very busy but kept the bar customers very happy. Food was amazing served fresh and fast. Very little seating inside but lots of outside seating. Very clean restruant. Would recommend this place.

Just had dinner at Flatwater and it was great. Started with the bang bang cauliflower and it was awesome. I had the blackened mahi mahi for dinner and I really liked it. The coconut rice, black beans, and mango salsa were the perfect complement to a very well prepared piece of fish. Service was great and so was the ambience.
When the weather turns in the spring for warmer days, there is no better place than Flatwater! Scenic views of the canal from the expansive patio, excellent food options and a super friendly staff that is knowledgeable and welcoming on each visit. Full service bar with a broad beer, cocktail and wine list.... They also carry Rhinegeist, my favorite craft brewery. Highly recommend!

I didn’t look this place up before going there with a friend after a day of walking and shopping and oh BOY was our experience incredible! The day was beautiful and they sat us right next to the canal. The nachos and shrimp tacos are incredible, and their aeperol spritz is delightful! the service was still great even though it was a busy time for them. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their delicious menu.
