This is a great place to grab a fairly priced meal! The hash brown casserole and B&G are pretty solid choices for breakfast… my husband enjoys the pancakes. Aside from the food, they have a sweet man that is sure to welcome anyone that walks in, in the morning! He’s a hoot!

The food was pretty bland and unseasoned. Waiter was kind but constantly forgetting items or not bringing out the whole order. A little frustrating to ask for things multiple times that are included in your order. The food looks pretty decent but lacks flavor.

Friends Diner Indy is a very well-organized and inviting place to sit down and enjoy a meal. The staff was extremely friendly, the food was good, and to top it all off, the peach cobbler with ice cream was absolutely the best part. It was my first visit and I would definitely recommend Friends Diner Indy to anyone looking for a comfortable spot to relax with a good meal.

I saw a review that said they didnt have a public restroom. That is correct. The restroom is for customers only!!! Lots of people coming in to use the restroom for purposes other than what its meant for. The staff has to clean it up and paying customers dont want to witness that.
The food is great. Huge variety of breakfast lunch and dinner. Large portions. The staff is friendly and attentive. They make you feel welcomed and actually bother to get to know you. Lots of regulars and a door guy that loves his job.
They are willing to let you swap things out. Some at an upcharge of course. They make their iced tea. Its not out if a fountain. Coffee is always strong(just the way i like it) and fresh.
