Really good, and unique donuts. I don't know why some people have to reach to make everything political, but if you want a great donut get it here. No one asks your affiliations, you just get great donuts and have a better day...

Hadn't been here in over 2 years, so I decided to pop by and grab a dozen to bring to work. 9:30am on a Sunday, and their selection was still great. The Bennie, cinnamon cake, & raspberry filled donuts in particular, totally exceeded my expectations. $25 for a dozen donuts may sound steep, but considering it as a special treat, not a regular occurrence, $2/specialty donut from a local business really isn't bad. Sure, you could get them cheaper elsewhere, but GADC quality standards AND constantly rotating selection are a big draw. They have a parking lot, which is easy to maneuver, and decent seating options inside (plus a special play area for those with younger children). Just a word of advice: Get there early!

Benny is a man child with a control complex. Benny makes 10.50$ an hour and believes doctors should make the same. Don't be Benny.

They should be called Make America Great Again Donuts since the owner is such a narcissistic nutjob. The donuts themselves are great but I won't be giving them another cent and haven't for the last two years. A blight on an otherwise excellent neighborhood.

I have had better donuts but it's ok

Perfect Vegan Krispy Kreme donut. My only complaint is that all the donuts aren’t vegan! If your vegan donuts are perfect & sell out first, why not make them all vegan? Definitely will return.

We love this place. Hands down one of the best spots in Indianapolis. Incredible doughnuts. The s’more is one of my top five doughnuts of all time. We have been to every doughnut shop in Indy and nothing compares (including Longs). The atmosphere is a vibe - cool but also cozy. They have succeeded in making it a comfortable, fun, and welcoming place for families. I have three young children and there can be a level of anxiety taking children to restaurants. But GAD has play toys for children and small tables - they prioritize families without sacrificing the style of the place. We recently moved and as I look back at the places that have made Indy special and unique, this is at the top of the list!

First time I went donuts were perfect. This last time something was off. Didn't taste the same. For such an expensive donut quality should always be there!!

Maya’s and Rian’s 2021 Doughnut ? Tasting Tour!My niece and nephew toured three nearby doughnut shops to compare their glazed doughnuts, try their recommended selections, and judge the atmosphere of each location. Below is their kid review of General American:Pink with greenery! Customer service is super to infinity! Lots of fancy options. Really kid friendly with fun tables, gumballs , and games. It looks like a fun place to hang out. It’s also a place where you can work (they saw a group meeting with laptops working)!Overall 5/5 starsDoughnut rating 4/5

Donuts were really good! Their take on the cronut was freshly made so it was still hot and literally melted in my mouth. All in all I would recommend this place and I will definitely be back

The chicken sandwiches were absolutely delicious. The donuts weren't anything special. The service was good as it could be with just two people working during early lunch hours. The only reason I give it a 4 is that with just the two people they seemed to be struggling with keeping tables clean and emptying trash. The place just wasn't as tidy as it could be.

Been to Titus, Longs and decided to try something new during my list visit to Indy. I'll just base review based on MY PERSONAL experience. I'm guessing in a year or two, it'll be a tougher place to stop and pick up donuts and development gobbles up the area. Space is nice, quaint and simple. Donuts were huge. I got the GADC dozen and got a baker's dozen with one of each they had that day. Dough for both yeast and cake were airy, but moist. A little on the more sweet side (I like how Long's is a little less). Even after two days, the leftover donuts were still great. Service was prompt and friendly. Yes $20 for dozen is high, but for the quality and portion size, I thought it was fair.

Donuts are okay, not as good as other local donut shops. Prices are also high. Plus they don’t open until 8am which is late for a business district store.

This place and it’s ownership/management are disgusting. Can’t wait to laugh when you close your doors.

We got an assortment on a Sunday morning. Pistachio, lemon, berries and creme, sprinkles, blackberry, and creme brûlée. They were all delicious. We didn't get coffee, but it was offered. The donuts were fresh and were generously frosted/topped. The topping on the pistachio and lemon slid off, but it was easy enough to eat that crispy sugary icing after it was separated from the donut.
