Gip Got Tips made 4 out of five from me. I only got the rib tips & nothing else. First time out I always order the same - only the tips. These rib tips were stellar! Have never had thin sliced on the bias before. Had a distinct smoke ring enviable by any Q fiend. Tasted like a good dry rub and maybe a light mop sauce for good measure. Perhaps a touch over cooked but reminded me of burnt ends. No bones & I would've liked more cartilage. Dip on the side was okay (not too thick or sweet, lacking good heat). Would have liked more options. These rib tips are worthy of a throw down!!

This BBQ spot is amazing! The food was flavorful, tender, and clearly made with love. The service was friendly and welcoming from start to finish. I really appreciate supporting a Black-owned business that takes so much pride in what they do. Everything—from the sides to the sauce—was on point. Gip got Tips was catered to the BBQ in the Backyard event hosted by the Indiana Black Chamber and wow - I cleared my plate! Ribs were flavorful, the potato salad , Mac and cheese and green beans tied everything together! I normally dont eat out but if I feel lazy I will for sure come here for a meal!

I ordered 2 pans of rib tips and potato salad for a birthday party. They were prompt with my order and the guests loved the ribs! They couldn't stop talking about the way they were cut and tender. I was equally impressed by the potato salad because everyone doesn't make it the same way. I will be returning soon
