My go-to coffee shop on the east side. You simply can't beat the people, prices, and especially purpose. Just expect to need to be patient, which is itself a nice break from ever-rushed modern society. Quality food and drinks made and served by the most positive developmentally disabled adults guided by dedicated mentors. They all embracingly (is that a word?) treat me like the "regular" I've become. Highly recommend.

A very odd place , I came into this location with my husband and we witnessed a staff member yelling at a disabled guy to clean up . It was alarming and made us very uncomfortable. Not only that it was very weird sitting areas and I would not return .

I was looking for a space I could stop by and do some work and I stumbled on God’s Embrace Coffee shop and this location has a space where you can ask for prayer and I loved my Mocha.
Parking: There’s construction going on in front of the locale so they mention its currently a hassle to get to their customers.

Highly recommend!!!
The Team at God's Embrace Coffee Shop was absolutely WONDERFUL! They were all very polite, accommodating and friendly!
The food was very tasty! We (3 of us) had Chicken salad sandwiches on brioche bread and they were spot-on! The Tuscany soup was homemade and fantastic!
Ooooh yes, the coffee. The coffee was absolutely delicious!!!

I dropped into this coffee shop this morning and I loved it. It is a faith based coffee shop within what looks like, the recreation center. The iced latte was delicious and the prices were very affordable. The baked goods looked really good but I didn’t try any. Several of the staff were adults with special needs so I didn’t mind taking an extra minute as they navigated taking my order and preparing my latte. I believe some of the church members were there helping the staff learn these new skills. They were all so patient and genuinely kind to me that it was worth the extra minute it took to take my order. It reminded me of our local, small town coffee shop when I was a kid. I wasn’t rushed to hurry and finish my latte to give the table to another customer. There were plenty of available tables and I could take all the time I needed to work on my laptop. My personal MiFi worked well in the building which is a huge plus for someone who works remotely. They have tons of free, easy parking. It’s not a fancy place but the vibe was welcoming and it’s a treat to be somewhere where you feel like you’re truly welcome. When I started to leave, several of the staff called out to me, “Bye! Embrace the day.” I really did feel like I felt Gods Embrace when I was there and that feeling stayed with me all day. I will definitely be back!

My family and I had visited this gem of a spot when we were traveling earlier this week. It was our last day in Indianapolis and we needed a quick coffee/breakfast before our flight. They have an amazing mission and the staff were extremely friendly and kind. The prices were very affordable (a drink and two breakfast plates for under $15) and they tasted good too. Before we left, one of the ladies had given us a book which I plan to read sometime in the future.
Plenty of seasonal drinks and flavors, and great breakfast sandwiches!

I love this coffee shop! It is quiet with convenient parking and lots of tables. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. Many of the workers are from the special needs community and learning new skills, so having an attitude of patience will help, but I've never had a bad experience. Everyone is cheerful and eager to help.
