I read the reviews before going to the Sunday brunch. I should have stayed away. Sorry but the food was horrible and yes bunches of the plates were dirty. The waiter was great and I enjoyed the mimosas but that's all that got me through the food. Never going back. If you drive past and notice they are not busy, wonder why. Bad food and overpriced to boot. Skip this brunch entirely.

My favorite place to eat in Indianapolis! The Idaho nacho appetizer is delicious as well as the hamburgers! If you go then try the granite city dip with fries!

Really enjoyed this place for Sunday brunch. They had a lot of food, we had a wait but the wait was so worth it. If you get a chance, go here for brunch!

We went in for the Sunday brunch buffet and it was moderately busy. We were seated at a booth which had just been wiped down by the man who showed us to the table and unfortunately this left the seat and table very sticky. The booth seats were not clean in the corners - they looked like they had not been cleaned properly in several weeks. My drink was a diet Coke which was flat and had three ice cubes in it. The brunch is average at best. The plates had bits of food stuck to the bottom of them. The majority of the food I tried from the large metal serving dishes was cold, probably because people were leaving the lids off. One of my sausages was pink in the middle so I didn't eat it. The ham was good but the prime rib was tasteless. I had a good made to order veggie omelet - by which I mean that it was hot. The jambalaya, the beer brat mac n cheese, and the fruit were all good. The cinnamon buns they bring to the table were tasty. My boyfriend had a made to order Benedict and the poached egg had runny whites so he didn't eat it. Our waitress smelled strongly of stale cigarette smoke. I don't care if people smoke but I shouldn't have to smell it while I eat. Overall not worth the $19 each and I would not return unless someone begged me and said that they would pay.

Came here with several of my friends for the brunch buffet and the infinite mimosa. Our server was friendly and had great customer service. The brunch buffet was so so good! I'm a huge fan of the doughnut station and the fruit assortments! 10/10 would do it again

I was here May 17, 201 9:30 pm. I ordered a salad that had a piece of tough steak strips on the salad. I must say say i got this to go, i was shocked that I paid $16.34 including tax, for this small salad with a few pieces of tough steak and some greens. I feel like this is a glorified Applebees. I feel taken advantage of. Granite city you got me this time, not again. thank you.

So to start service was fine but they place needs a serious cleaning. The table we sat at was sticky. My hands and arms stuck to it and could not slide my plate around on it. I touch the surface of several other tables on the way out and they were too. And my feet stuck to the bathroom floor as well.

Luckily got there while people were leaving and tables were opening up, so there wasn't much of a wait. Service was great, beer was good, but the food wasn't that great. The onion ring tower was a tasty appetizer I shared with my girlfriend. However, after that came the Cajun Pasta. It was a very large portion, but the food was bland. At the least noodles were cooked just right. I might go back, but I'm not too inclined to do so. I guess my takeaway from this place is Granite City Food & Brewery is the new modern TGIF/Applebees/Chilis chain that will dominate American landscapes.

Our server was lovely and the buffet was very good! The restaurant management overbooked Mother's Day brunch and less than 15 minutes after we were seated, which was 15 minutes or more after our reservation, we were told the manager said it was "last call" on the buffet. So while the food was good and the service was excellent considering the constraints on the workers, the experience wasn't over all 5 stars because we felt very rushed. If you aren't going to accommodate the guests you allow to reserve time slots and allow for the chance that people will stay longer than expected, then you need to be careful not to overbook your service.

I had a late lunch with my husband here awhile back, we went right before St. Paddy's day. I like the menu though much didn't stand out to me, the waitress was kind enough to help customize my nachos. My nachos were kettle chips and they tasted awesome. Her making suggestions helped me decide on what I ultimately wanted to order. The restaurant is clean and very spacious, it wasn't busy when we stopped in so the service was good.

Nice atmosphere. Female Ryaine was nice. Really good ranch sauce. I had a great turkey burger. Other people at the table had flat bread and salad. No complaints.

Draft beer variety and great growlers for when you fall in love.
