A sad, empty booth with a faded menu. They serve some of the most vile tasting and looking food that I have ever eaten. I gave the browning lettuce and rubbery beef/lamb a chance but the flavor was awful. The tzatziki tasted as if it had soured or had been mixed with a cleaning solution. My palate isn't refined enough to tell the difference. I watched one staff member microwave the meat, unashamedly, while another (possibly the owner) chatted with a friend the entire time I was in the market. It seems as though they are doing their best to fail which would be for the best.

Meat was cold. No onions. 2 big chunks of tomato. Sauce was super thick.

Worst food ever!!! Had food from Grecian Gardens. The whole restaurant was dirty and disgusting. John the owner was rude and didn't wear a glove. Cant believe city markets lets a place like that be open.

Thanks for lunch!

John still hasn't paid employees last pay check. Owner and managers at city market are not returning calls. Very unprofessional. They know he is a bad owner and will not help out the employees. City market has lost all value. John needs to go!! Please like if this has happened to you.

I ordered the Greek salad with gyro meat... delish! But why Italian dressing instead of Greek?!?! Kinda upsetting...

Their gyros are absolute ?? If you're downtown, stop by the city market and check these guys out.

Greek food, super good. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. Prices were good for how much you get. Food is like a place in Baltimore I loved.

Excellent place for tasty greek food. Don't worry if it's busy, it is worth the wait. The service was very friendly and attentive. It has a nice atmosphere. Food is like a restaurant in Jacksonville I loved.

The place offers an awesome variety of delicious food. I loved dining here. Staff members are always helpful, prices are convenient and the spot is always well organised.

Always good food and friendly staff. If your lucky you even get to meet the owners. Both of which are amazing individuals. Pictured is the Mama's special: meatballs, with potatoes, and pitas bread. For dessert highly recommend their baklava. Seeting upstairs gives a nice view of the market.

I came here for lunch on a Monday. I love Greek food so was excited when I saw this stand. When I approached, I was ignored for a bit and then finally someone yelled from the back part of the booth asking what I wanted. I ordered the chicken kabob which came with rice and one pita. I asked if the rice had any sauce on it and the gentleman told me that he could dump some sauce from the potatoes onto the rice if I wanted, which I agreed to. I ordered a drink as well. My total was around $12. After I paid, I realized that I would like some tzatziki sauce with it and the cashier told me that she had to charge me $0.50 for it. I found that a bit frustrating since I had ordered a meal but paid it anyway. Thank goodness I did. It was the only thing that gave the food any flavor. The chicken and rice were so bland. The chicken didn't really taste fresh but kind of like wedding buffet food that's been prepared and rewarmed. I was done with my soda in about two sips, which made me realize that they had filled the cup with ice. I went back to the booth and noticed that they charge for refills but when I explained that I hardly got any liquid they refilled mine for free. I would not suggest eating here.
