Stopped here after a visit to Butler University and what a surprise. Doesn't look like much from the outside or the inside but the food speaks for itself. Brisket sandwich 🔥 mac n cheese 🔥 baked beans 🔥 pecan pie 🔥

Best BBQ in Indy but the new young lady at the counter is horrible

Heard about this bar-b-que from friends and ended up going two days in a row last week :-) First visit I tried their rib tips w\mac & cheese and the potato letke and the next day I went back and the owner was there. He gave me a sample of his corned beef and brisket and I ended up getting a brisket and rib dinner. I told him that I was originally from the East Coast and heard about their place. The owner, Hank came out and welcomed me and he gave me a little history lesson on the restaurant. Besides meeting him, everyone there was great during my first two visits. I have tried many bar-b-que places since my move out here and Hank's is the best I've ever had. I will be going back again this week. New and permanent customer! Good food, service, etc.

Friendliest fellows at this place! We went on a Sunday right when they opened to get brisket for dinner that night. We were offered samples, and we bought brisket, Mac and cheese, baked beans, and cole slaw. All was very tasty and we will be back.
This is carryout only so plan to eat it elsewhere.

Best brisket in the city. I try my best to go here when I want BBQ but this happens way too often. I had my ear buds in & forgot I was on hold. & this was my 2nd time being on hold. Shouldn't be this hard to place a to-go order. Time is money for the customer too

I love this place... I eat a Hank Potato about once every 2 to 3 weeks.
The smoke flavor is in every bite. The Big Hank has smoked sausage, brisket and tip meat shredded across a huge open faced potato. Get the big Hank add cheese... do not I repeat do not get the sauce on the potato. Put it on the side and you can regulate every bite with the amount of sauce you desire. The Big Hank is a 10 out of 10 everytime.

I ordered the corned beef brisket dinner and it was the best sandwich ive had in a while .very juicy and tender. The sides were delicious. They were very courteous and the service was great. When im on the west side of town Hanks is gonna be my go to place for lunch..

Brisket is delicious, mac has great seasoning and is thick.

Wow! New to neighborhood and this place is a hidden gem! Had the brisket dinner! Sauce to die for, brisket smoked perfectly with an amazing bark! Most unique potato salad not a bad thing to say about this place check it out!

Excellent service....

Tried the chicken and spare ribs. Everything was good. Nice smoke flavor to the meats. Will be back!
