First time going there recently and they were immediately warm and accommodating towards me. The brisket truly tasted amazing. would definitely go back.

This was some of the best because I even licked the brown paper bag I ate the grizzle the napkins the plastic utensils Thank the Lord for allowing me to be able to enjoy a decent meal. Also I got the peach cobbler one complaint it was just not enough. It was so good I got in a fight with myself licking my fingers!
The food is so good Ray Charles drove Stevie Wonder there in rush hour traffic and didn’t wreck !

Hank's is an utterly amazing BBQ joint. While we were walking in, people were walking out laughing and joking around. We told the guy at the window that we had never been there before and he hooked us up with an ample sampling of brisket and corned beef along with a side of hank's famous award winning magical sauce. Hank's is doing it in the Mid-West for BBQ, friendliness, hospitality, and atmosphere.... A true diamond amongst mediocrity.

I am in support of small businesses, maybe I went on a bad day, I got a small tip as well as potatoes salad and bake beans. I need to know do they cook the food fresh or is it warmed up? The rib tips were tendered but not flavorful. after setting for a few hours, I developed a lot of grease in the container as if they were old. Bake beans were burnt at the bottom of the cartoon. I went based on referrals wasnt good barbecue for me.
The customer service was on point, though....

In for a visit from Knoxville, TN and a friend took me in for lunch. Corned beef sandwich and peach cobblers were delicious! Can’t wait to eat here again on the next visit!

I've eaten here 3 times and each time I have had the same experience. The food is NOT FRESH! It isn't cooked on the same day and you can taste the difference. The ribs are not cooked on the same day. It's reheated and served. It has a stale taste almost like it's going bad! This isn't good for the public. If this is done in your home, it's okay but serving the public is different! I've had the ribs, the brisket, and the potato with the brisket. Even the baked potato wasn't fresh! Not very tasty when your food is old. Do better folks!!! We love patronizing black businesses, but this isn't what you should serve us! No stale food, please!!! BTW, this place was recommended. Nope, not good at all!

Oh Boy!! My brother-in-law told me about this place.... I wanted some good brisket and was not disappointed. Great people. Give it a try just because, it's a hidden gem. Going back for the cornbeef. Support!!

Best place hands down!!! My favorite is the Brisket Potato , I haven't tried any other menu items I'm stuck on that one, the owner and his wife are very welcoming, the atmosphere is great. If I have a issue they always fix it the next time i order, it's worth every penny!

Terrible, terrible undercooked brisket. Like trying to chew a car tire. Embarrassing that someone sent this out.

This has the "grandad did it right and now someone's milking the name and reputation for all it's worth" vibe. The worst brisket I've had in a long, long time.
