Prior to ordering, checked online hours to make they were open. Ordered & received confirmation of order. Even received update to the time my order would be ready. Get to restaurant and wait until appointed time. Go to door...locked. Call store in disbelief... Mailbox full. Check account... CHARGED but NO chicken. Why are you accepting orders and you're not even open?! Update your info, please!! 🤦🏾♀️

I had an order thru door dash. Despite the reviews I decided to order anyway and that was the worst mistake! My chicken was so hard I was crunching the meat as if it was cooked twice or something! Unable to eat any of it and couldn't take it back because I was at work and by the the time I was off they would be closed ! As a Chicago native I am very familiar with HAROLDS CHICKEN and this was absolutely disgusting! I would not recommend anyone to order from here! If so order at your own risk! Money wasted! I would have done better with sharks fish and chicken ! 😡😡😡

I would give it a 0 cuz that's what it really deserves. Order a half dark chicken and fries. It took longer than any 25-30 minutes. Had to listen to the dude in the kitchen cussin on his phone conversation. When my order was finally did, no wonder it took so long. It looked like they cooked an ostridge or some humongous bird. The chicken was too big that it didn't look right and the fries was soggy not crispy. Plus the place looks ran down over time since its opened. Will NOT be back.

Walked in, and the owner just stared at us with zero greeting, we Drove 2+ hours from Louisville and arrived at 12p in the afternoon just to be told that they’re out of chicken. What a waste of time! How are you Harold chicken with no chicken. Smh

Honestly the chicken was trash, the chicken and fries taste like straight grease. They didn’t give me my fries green tomato’s and they also forgot my sauces. The cookies were straight tho. Never eating from here again.

They claim to have Chicago style food don’t let the name fool you, this place sucks seems like they just keep using the same old oil I asked for catfish nuggets and got some nasty ass catfish, wings sucks thumbs down.
