This place is connected to a gas station that has lots of characters and a lot going on out front. Thee inside is dark and dingy. It wouldn’t hurt to close for a day or two and deep clean and some touch up paint. Now to thee food…..AWFUL!! I’ve had Harold’s in Chicago and in Atlanta, both places had seasoning and thee food was always fresh. This location seasons with water and old grease. Thee batter was not sticking to thee chicken or shrimp. Thee fries must have been sitting all day. I don’t know who thee owner is of this location but I hope they reading these reviews and implement changes.

Great disappointment. Fish was not cooked to order. No seasoning. Taste as if the batter was a wet batter instead of dry and fries taste as if they were under a lamp light to keep warm. Glad I got the small order☹️

I was not happy that my food was not covered. I had it delivered to my work place by Uber and the tray they put my food in was soggy,bag was wet. Unsealed ??♀️. I don't trust it. I won't be ordering from them again.

I was so happy to eat some delicious Harold's yesterday. In the past, sometimes was a hit/miss but yday was definitely a hit! Bowne, I don't like that coleslaw just doesn't come with the orders anymore because I'm from Chicago and we never had to ask. If you want it, eat it; if you don't then don't eat it because that was always my childhood favorite and the chicken skin because I didn't care to eat the food as a picky eater,lol.

I am a Chicago boy and I grew up on Harold Chicken. This spot is my Chicago Harold Chicken.
Chicken was hot, fresh, and juicy delicious. But it took over 25mins to prepare my takeout & it was overpriced. Also restaurant pics don't match the place bc you can't eat inside per owner. Worse of all the kitchen floor where food is prepared was absolutely filthy with grime. Won't be returning.

Have been standing for about 10-15 minutes, still haven’t been helped. No ‘can I help you’ ‘what can I get started for you’ NOTHING. Keeps answering the phones and putting orders in the system. Still no ‘I’ll be right with you’.Place looks like it could use a full day of being shut down and SCRUBBED to the ground as well, honestly maybe completely refurbished. The longer I look at the kitchen the more I wonder why people are still eating here but to each their own ?*walking out now*
