Doorman was EXTREMELY rude. That was my 1st time there and he was so rude we just turned around and left. I will NEVER go back there again. He was angry bcuz my purse was so big. He instantly caught an attitude~

I wanted to try their new revamped menu, and I was NOT disappointed!! Fried chicken, yams, macaroni and cheese, greens, and cornbread....I was pleasantly surprised!! His Place Eatery AND Kountry Kitchen better watch out!! I had to come leave a review, because I was THAT pleased...nothing like having a taste for soul food and every item hits the spot....That butter on that cornbread was amazing, and the yams taste like grandma's sweet potato pie recipe!
