Atmosphere: romantic. At the bar, there were a few tables that had more of a business vibe. I can't wait to return!

The decor was very nice. Staff was very helpful with questions and ordering. I got the Southern California Roll, and it was the best I had ever gotten. And all for 8 bucks! I will say, the bathrooms were a bit interesting , with a massive closet in them. But overall it was a great time and experience. No reservation needed.

Absolute best sushi spot downtown! I brought six of us here for my birthday last night and they took great care of us! Extremely friendly staff including the owners wife Nara (sorry if the spelling is off!). And amazing quality sushi.
Visiting in Indianapolis from Virginia, this is Absolutely THE BEST sushi we’ve ever had - anywhere! The restaurant, the welcome, the service and attention by the server and the hostess, the ambiance, the presentation of the food, and the quality of the fish was all top class.
We started with miso soup and seaweed salad - both excellent, followed by several types of nigiri - tuna, salmon, yellowtail, mackerel, and eel; special rolls - Volcano, Orange Blossom, Rock ‘n Roll, and Spicy Tuna; and sashimi - salmon and yellowtail. We were extremely impressed with the freshness and quality of all the fish and especially the sashimi as it felt like it melted in the mouth, as well as the presentation.
We love our favorite sushi restaurant back home, but this place “takes the cake”. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

This was suggested to us as one of the best sushi places in town, and they did not disappoint. We started with the Thursday and snowball rolls, which were fantastic. Then, the owner suggested the Lolipop roll and Chu-Toro, and they were both perfection! This is now a guaranteed stop when we are in town. Love it!

I came here for an early dinner while visiting town for a game. It just opened when we got there, so it was very quiet. The place had a casual but nice vibe and comfortable seats. They have an extensive sushi menu with creative touches; the menu is so well-labeled that you'll know exactly what to expect from your roll. There's a good selection of apps and other Japanese staple dishes, too. From what I ate, the rainbow roll was pretty good quality; the volcano 2.0 roll was excellent, very filling, and that fire on the plate actually added a good char flavor. The spring rolls were very tasty, pretty much perfection. Service was warm and friendly. I'd be happy to come back next time I'm in town.
