This place has fantastic sushi! They are reasonably priced and always busy! Reservations are recommended but not required! I recommend the volcano roll, they set it on fire table side!

Staff were friendly and knew their restaurant, maybe a bit understaffed. I really liked the emperor roll and the presentation of the bonfire was pretty good. Really liked their mochi.

Such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly, the service was great, and the food was amazing. I had the chicken teriyaki and it was honestly the best chicken I’ve ever had. You can tell this family-owned restaurant truly cares about their guests. Plus, the cocktails were excellent. Highly recommend! P.S. Kevin is a fantastic waiter!

Absolutely amazing sushi experience! The Cherry Blossom roll and the Lollipop roll were both incredible… super fresh, perfectly balanced, and honestly some of the best rolls I’ve had in a long time. Every bite was so flavorful.
On top of that, our server Kevin was fantastic… friendly, attentive, and made the whole night even better with great recommendations and service!!!

I used to visit Tegri Bistro in Fishers off of Olio Rd and was sad when I found out they closed, but was very happy when I found out that Hasuno opened and conveniently located down.
Let’s start with price- yes it’s a little pricey. But I understand they are making up for the cost of the downtown location. Definitely a place to go on special occasions if your budget is not set up to splurge here. Would love to see a happy hour menu here so more people can try the food.
Next is the quality of the food, which IMO, justifies the price. “Less is more” is so important when it comes to sushi rice. I love being able to get sushi and not feel so full because the minimally necessary amount of rice was used and doesn’t leave you full after one roll.
All of the special rolls we liked in the following order.
1) Bonfire
2) Orange Blossom
3) Cherry Blossom
4) Trish
5) Emperor
6)Thursday
The miso soup was perfect and priced at $3. The drinks and gyoza were good too, but not too special. I would definitely save my appetizer/beverage $ for the rolls.
We ordered smoked salmon, hamachi, and scallop sashimi. Scallop was our favorite for the sashimi, but all were amazing. The star (and priciest) of our dinner we did not capture, but it was the Maduro Nigiri. The quality was very good and fatty, I thought it tasted like Hara-naka.
Service was great. No wait. 10 out of 10 recommend.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Took my boyfriend here for his birthday we were seated at 5:20 PM and waited at least 20 minutes before our server even came to take our drink order. We were a party of two, and at the time we were only about the fifth table in the restaurant, so there was no reason for the delay. After another 20 minutes, the server finally came back to take our food order. At that point we thought things might improve, but they didn’t. An hour later, we still had no food. We could clearly see our meals sitting in the kitchen window getting cold while our server made no effort to run them. After watching our food sit there for at least 15 minutes with no communication or explanation, we finally gave up and left. We arrived hungry and left at 7:00 PM, after nearly an hour and forty minutes, without eating anything at all. Completely unacceptable service and a very disappointing experience. I work in the service industry and i always try to give servers some leeway but this was just completely and totally unacceptable. no apologies or excuse on why the service was so slow at one point i was sobbing at the table from being so hungry and just watching our very delicate sushi just get gross and old and our server came up and asked if we wanted another drink (only saw this man maybe 3 times the entire hour and 40 minutes), like no sir i would really like you to turn around and look at the food that’s been sitting in the window for 15 minutes.

This place is the BEST. Like, I don't write reviews but i felt compelled after our last time there- the staff is ALWAYS so friendly and the service is top notch. Last night we were served by Kevin, and he was just so friendly and helpful, maybe the best server I've ever had. We haven't even got to the food yet- always amazing. Honestly some of the freshest sushi I've had anywhere downtown Indy. Delicious. Highly reccommend
