We’ve been looking for our go-to Indian spot for 3 years, and now this is the one. Butter chicken, veg pakora, and mango lassi are all the best in Indy. Plus the service is fast and friendly.

One time, I was picking up a to-go order and a young kid was telling the staff that he was moving away to college and wouldn’t be able to come as often. He wanted to let the chef know how much he enjoyed eating here and thanked him for all his meals over the years. Too cute.

Very NOT wheelchair accessible. Very tight and narrow turn inside the entryway.

We ordered tikki chat and manchurian, taste was amazing. Really like the food. After so long I got real indian taste😋

I’m Indian and I will say, this is the BEST Indian cuisine in Indy. They even honor non-dairy options! Their mild can taste medium and their medium tastes hot, so be careful! Lol. But that’s Indian food for ya! :)

I ordered take-out from Haveli Indian recently, and it was excellent! I have tried a number of different Indian restaurants in the area over the years, and this was among the best. The food was fresh, high-quality, and delicious. The order was also ready in a timely fashion, and packaged with care. I will DEFINITELY be coming back!

Stopped in for an Indian food fix on a weekday in August, 2024. The ambiance is simple but welcoming. Our waiter turned out to be the chef, Talwinder! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and gracious. Got our spice levels just right. We ordered the chicken tikka masala, my test dish. It was flavorful and tasty. I agree with a previous reviewer that is was not very thick, but I still liked it a lot. Unfortunately, I cannot eat at other new Indian restaurants because their food is too spicy for me, even when I beg for grandma mild. I don't blame them for being authentic, but I must have my fix somewhere! Nothing compares to my old favorite, the Broad Ripple India Garden, but this is a comfortable and delicious option. Please consider giving Haveli Indian Restaurant a try! I can't wait to go back.#eatlocal

The food is really outstanding.Every meal we had was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. I really suggest the dal makhni and paratha "Hands down, some of the most delicious and also staff very familiar

I honestly never leave a bad review, but I have no idea how this place has almost 5 stars. This is one of the worst meals I've ever eaten in my life. I usually go by the reviews and find great Indian restaurants in every city I travel to. The shrimp tasted horrible. The chicken was extremely dry and flavorless. The lamb kabobs were not very good as well but at least edible. You could not taste any spice with the exception of the cilantro they covered the dish with. I wanted to send it back, but I've never been the type to do that. Maybe they had an off day. I'm not sure, but there's no way I could recommend going here.
