Staying at the Marriott and didn't want to venture out, so ended up at High Velocity. Excellent choice, being right in the hotel. Great choice of cocktails, varied menu from appetizers, salads, sandwiches or dinner. Excellent food and service. Great atmosphere for sports, or just a place to hang out and chill.
I was excited to try this place out on my recent trip to Indy. We were sadly let down, first with service, and second the food. I ordered a quesadilla, and basically received 4 grilled tacos... there wasn't even any of the advertised chicken or beans in them. It was 99% cheese. My girlfriend ordered a spicy margarita, which didn't come until 10 minutes after the food. The server seemed to have disappeared for quite some time after taking our order. I would not go out...
We had a reservation for 8, but there ended up being 11 of us as others from our meeting decided to join. The restaurant staff was very accommodating and pleasant about the unexpected additions. Our waitress was very nice. It was busy, but food and drinks came quickly.
